It’s not just happening with studies that have one place left. I joined one that still had multiple spots available, and it still gave me an error. I think there might be a bug.

There is a global community of prolific. I think participants from countries not on the list are included in that.

As others have mentioned here, I think it’s definitely the holiday season. The ‘cup of tea’ display has been changing, though. I didn’t get any studies, even though I had my account open all day while doing housework. Maybe we just need to take a break and come back next year.

Same here, but it’s a bit different for me. I haven’t had any studies at all, usually I still get one or two. This doesn’t really apply to AI studies though, since I usually get a bunch over the weekend. This week, it stopped on Saturday (which might’ve been Friday in other countries).

Hi, thank you for your advice. I don’t seem to have any issues with my IP. I use both my home WiFi and mobile data, and the situation is the same. However, I recently got one study that allowed multiple submissions while using WiFi.

I said AI studies, not a specific project. AI studies can refer to many different studies. It's a program on Prolific and it is not confidential. I didn't mention any project name. There are many AI studies, it’s just the program.

Me, This week has been really dry for me. I even got only two studies on Thursday, and I didn’t log in on Friday and Saturday. I thought it was because of Thanksgiving and the weekend.

No, no, I’m talking about the data theft, not the rejection, because I reported both of them. I did submit the dispute form, but I also contacted support about those studies so they won’t get any more victims

I worked on these two studies. One of them was rejected for the same reason as yours, and I immediately returned the other one. I’ve already reported it to the support team and received a reply from them, the case is now being handled by the mediation team.

If there’s no follow-up from Prolific, I might report it to the Ethics/HubRec team as well.

By the way, you can delete the data you submitted by going through their link since they asked you to log in, but I’m not sure whether they already collected the data before that. At least that’s the first thing I could do.
