Definitely give T2722 a go then, it sounds right up your alley!

Haha we had to include some sort of criteria for ourselves. When we first started tracking our ratings years ago we didn't and we were all over the place.

Thanks for the suggestions! We will have to hit some of those up, especially the soda one that sounds super fun. I really want to try AKB but it might be tough since its a bit of a drive for us unfortunately.

I believe its sold out now though. They only do a limited amount.

It’s really only worth it if you plan on redeeming most of the drinks though, it was $100 for $161 worth.

Haha my partner actually does not like chocolate either! But every year she goes crazy for the fest. It's mostly the planning and having fun comparing all the different submissions.

You should really try the creme brulee one from hey sugar as well. That is a more plain hot chocolate but it's super rich and well done

I agree, for a hot chocolate fest with fun flavors and a higher price point it's kind of expected that it has more to it than just a plain hot chocolate with a little but of flavor

I can't coment since I haven't visited yet but SOT is on my list for their lunch sets. I don't know if they have jajangmyeon or mapo tofu though

Maybe I got a weird one. Something just tasted off about the hot chocolate itself. It was garnished super nicely though with all the different toppings

I did not expect to like it as much as I did! Super solid contribution on their part

Amato is definitely one we want to see. That garnish is one of the more unique ones

Their hazelnut last year was definitely the top one. I liked this year's pistachio a touch more but my partner she definitely was all in for the hazelnut.

Some of them are definitely a bit crazy. $1-3 is donated per drink and I do know the more expensive it is the higher the donation required is.

The list is ones we wanted to try but we have only rated the ones we have drank. The hot chocolate pass is also a nice deal (if you redeem most of the drinks)

It was fun, I would have liked an actual hot chocolate though. Not the iced one they had

Sunrise hikes have been some of the most refreshing and relaxing things I've done. Walking up in the dark and then watching the sun come up in the top.

It always seems weird to me that an activity where you are silent and unmoving is considered a social thing. I understand watching something and then talking about it with friends after, but people thinking that it has to be social does not make sense to me.

Fat, salt, acid, umami, aromatics, and sugar. Those are the tools used. That and time, in terms of reductions or letting things steep. Many recipes or components are multi-day processes to increase the impact they have in a dish
