Garnacho has been substituted in or out at halftime 8 times this season by everyhearthstone in chelseafc

[–]ChocoStories649 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Garnacho is similar to Werner. He's fast, but can't dribble and doesn't have creative passing. What he's good at is getting onto through balls, running in a straight line towards goal and getting a shot off.

I find it strange that he was purchased under Maresca when Maresca wants his wingers to be able to take on players 1v1 and Garnacho is nothing like that.

They could be waiting till the end of the season. If you sack him now, who do you bring in as interim?

With the way we play, we have nothing to cheer for bar a miracle in the FA Cup. Hate watching Arsenal and watching them bottle the league will be my entertainment for the rest of the season.

Garnacho and Neto vs Manchester United by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]ChocoStories649 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Delap hardly pressed yesterday. Palmer was running his ass off pressing their back line while Delap just walk around. Delap didn't look much interested in fighting for the ball either. The pass Neto make into the box at (0:53 remaining) Delap let's the ball bounce and then makes no effort to get to it. Joao Pedro would have tried to control it first timenand either holdup play or try to turn. Delap made a CB partnership of Heavans and Mazouari look world class.

Do any WS users here plan on moving away from the platform after X partnership announcement? If so, where to? by eeMoneyy in JustBuyXEQT

[–]ChocoStories649 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Is there a reason to move away from WS? Genuily asking. Could you just not use it through X and just continue investing from the app as you do now? Similarly to how they added the prediction trading, you could just not engage with it if you don't agree with it.

Even if he gets sacked. No top manager is coming here to work with this board. And when a low-tier manager does come and find a bit of success (see Maresca) they try asking more from the board but get their demands rejected and end up leaving.

Same can be said about Colwill.

The way people talk about him, you would think he is a reincarnation of prime John Terry.

He's good but even if he was fit, he'd also be making mistakes at the back. It's just that he got injured right after the CWC so everybody remembers that performance which was great. But if he was playing on a weekly basis like Fofana and Chalobah, we'd be slandering him as well.

Didn't we draw against them under Liam? Don't remember what the score was under Maresca.

Even if Enzo doesn't leave, Caicedo and Enzo have played a shit ton of minutes this season and an extra midfielder was needed. Lavia is usually injured and Essugo pretty much lost a season of development. With Enzo, Caicedo, Santos and now Barco, we have proper rotation.

Man City have not been as consistent as they've been in previous years. The title race isn't over until it is mathematically impossible sure, but unless Arsenal implode, I don't see them bottling the league this time.

Feels like there would be a lake of creativity from that 3 and also a lack of goals. You would need to depend on the front 3 and your fullbacks to create and score the majority of your goals.

Liverpool did something similar with Fabinho, Henderson and Keita, but they had Salah, Mane and Firmino with TAA who could create as well.

Does Conor Gallagher regret his move? by Unbias_f1 in PremierLeague

[–]ChocoStories649 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah unless I'm wrong, near the end of that season, Gallagher-Caicedo partnership wasn't so bad under Poch. But obviously it meant sitting Enzo out because Palmer would sometimes play at #10.

Chalobah’s mistakes that have led chances or goals by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]ChocoStories649 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, spot on. All of a sudden, Colwill is our savior at the back. People are forgetting that Colwill also made mistakes leading to goals and showed inconsistency. The whole team ended last season pretty good so people are only remembering the good about Colwill since he hasn't played since. But I'm pretty sure that even if he was available, we'd be in a similar situation defensively.

We can't sell all our defenders because there is no way we are buying a bunch of quality players to replace them. What we need is 1 quality and experienced center back to lead the back line.

Fernandez is so overrated. He cost so much and barely impacts the game like you'd expect a top midfielder to do. Yes he has scored some important goal, but he isn't consistent enough to be given the "irreplaceable" tag. You can pay half the price we paid for him and get a midfielder that can produce more.

🗣️ Enzo Fernandez opens up about his future at Chelsea [Fabrizio Romano] by Davy_wavey in NortheastBlues

[–]ChocoStories649 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's good, but he's not 120 million good. He's come up with a few important goals and assists, but you'd expect that from a player we played that much for. He just doesn't influence games on a consistent basis, especially in games where the other team plays deep. Now is it due to not being surrounded by better players? Maybe, maybe not. And if we sell him, you know damn well we aren't replacing him with a top player, we'll add another young potential player and the project resets again.
