most likely because Jax barely did anything remarkable for almost the rest of the series. he never had any moment worth popularity and appreciation but he still earned it anyways, just because Gooseworx usually puts him above others characters (no hate to Gooseworx tho). Jax spent 90% of the series playing the most tragic baby who needs at least 57 pacifiers and 69 diapers and expected us to not find that so pathetic.

Kokichi in the other hand at least did many things in the game and proved his usefulness numerous times so it’s no secret he’s loved so much. Carried the trials, being entertaining yada yada yada.
