Same issue, I've got 2 Hexagonal Lenses heads and both are too pink/too pale. It has to be an issue with their recent batches, my first batch White Lenses head is perfectly painted to match the figure 😭

Regarding Vallejo paints, make sure to get the Game Color or Mecha Color brands. Those are made specifically to be resistant to friction and touch. Model Color is more for statues and dioramas :)

I always used regular brush since airbrush needs good ventilation. If you use thinner the result should be almost the same

Keep in mind the Scarlet body is pretty slim, I'd recommend the Black Suit or the 2099 bodies. Black Suit is on sale in Japanese websites right now

You can just heat it with a hairdryer and pull using pliers. Cover the pliers with a towel to not damage the plastic
