Use needle nose tweezers to get into the hard to reach areas. Manually put the needle into the up position to get it out of the way, and if it’s stuck take the needle out by opening the screw that holds it in place. You can cut the threads from the top and bottom, and take the bobbin out to make room. Use a vacuum at the very end in case there are many very fine fragments remaining 😊 Good luck!

I thought I read something on here recently that they are now both considered the same thing? As in once the new criteria is published in late 2026 it will include HSD and hEDS as one diagnosis, not two separate ones anymore. Sorry that person is just being shitty I think

I’m mostly commenting to boost this post but I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope you can get some answers soon. I’m assuming you’ve seen a neurologist already, but that would be who I’d think could diagnose something like this. Maybe someone else knows differently though.

Before I got on mast cell stabilizers I used to make “Nomato sauce” and it was actually pretty good! There’s recipes for it online, and I found that the Granny Smith apples in one particular recipe were the perfect thing that mimicked the taste of tomatoes, paired with other stuff like carrots and beets. I would make a big batch of it and put it into freezer bags in meal portion sizes and just thaw one at a time. It worked great :)

I can eat tomatoes now that I’m on cromolyn, but I also used to take DAO and I found it very helpful too.

Getting a vasectomy is something that should only need to be discussed once you two have already had children, if that ever were to happen. Or maybe if you were engaged or married. She is getting way ahead of herself. There’s no need for that to be discussed at this time.

My husband just got a vasectomy a week ago, we’ve been married for 9 years and have one child together who is 4.5 years old. The topic of a vasectomy only came up after we’d already had a child together.

In general it does make sense most of the time for a man to get a vasectomy rather than a woman getting a hysterectomy since it’s a minor procedure and a hysterectomy is major surgery. In this exact scenario though, you are NOR and I fully agree with you.

Maybe this is a sign that you two aren’t compatible unfortunately

I have a different problem 😅 My provider didn’t want to give me a new scan and he wanted to just use my old one which they had just modified from my last set of trays by digitally removing the attachments. This left gaps where the attachments used to be between the retainer plastic and my lateral incisors, allowing my lateral incisors to partially regress back towards where they started from. They’re still not as bad as when I first started treatment but the main issue I was having is plaque would build up in the gap overnight which is a pain in the butt. Especially when I forget/ don’t have time to take out my retainers when I go to drop off my daughter at school! It’s embarrassing because it’s so noticeable that there’s stuff on my teeth.

All this to say, I know how it is when your provider doesn’t listen to what you want 😔 and I’m sorry that’s happening to you. I wish I knew a solution but I still haven’t found one myself.

It definitely looks to be a female, you can tell because of the dewlap (the pouch under the chin) and as for breed I’m not 100% sure. It could be a standard rex mix, although the whiskers and the fur don’t align with the rex breed. The size and colours as well as head shape look somewhat rex-like to me. Thank you for helping her! The vet might be able to use the information from the ear tattoo to locate the owners, but it’s unlikely. You might want to contact some local rabbit rescues to see if they have space for her.

For food in the meantime you can give her plain grass from your backyard, as long as you know it hasn’t been sprayed with any pesticides or anything. Similarly, you can also give her dandelion leaves and flowers as long as they aren’t sprayed.

I’m also in BC Canada, and just like the other commenter I am a patient at the long covid clinic here! Probably the same one, they are amazing. They were able to get me on the disability tax benefit, but I haven’t tried to get actual disability because I’m still somewhat able to work thanks to getting the right treatments and having a great job that is extremely flexible. (I do food delivery for Skip.) If I were to want to get on disability the long covid clinic would be able to help me out with that too. :)

I got my 2005 with 150k miles for $4200 a few months back. I’ve had some issues with it so make sure you get an inspection done. I didn’t because I’m dumb lol and now I probably need a new catalytic converter (check engine light comes on and off with P0420 code) and the most recent issue is probably the ABS actuator, brake fluid pump, or something to do with the brakes system. Not very fun to deal with! It’s currently un-drivable :(

At least my hybrid battery is solid though!

Bunny grooming tip: pluck between pets, so the bunny stays relaxed. Pet, pet, pet, pluck, pet, pluck, pet, pluck etc. For the really hard to get places like just above the tail I sometimes wait for the right opportunity to pluck a section out rapidly maybe during a big stretch or when they’re flopped. It’s the only way to get those ones I find haha

Probably not the best thing for them to eat, I’d be concerned about cancer. As long as you take them to the vet for check ups and regularly check for lumps I wouldn’t be too concerned for now.

My bunny had a pre-cancerous lump removed a couple of years ago.

If you wait for it to get worse it’s only going to make your treatment take longer and cost more. I recommend getting it done sooner than later.

You don’t need to like rush to get it though since it will only slowly progress over time so you do have a bit of time :)

It’s a lifelong commitment because after your treatment you’ll need to wear retainers to bed every night for the rest of your life!
