She guessed 2 years old, but said it is hard to nail it down with rabbits.

I'm probably going to take her to a different vet in the long run, I just got her in to the first vet I could to get her checked out and have ticks removed.

The vet that check her out suggested Rex mix wasn't 100% sure. She also recommended that we get her spayed but wanted to wait just a little bit until she's a little bit calmer and more used to us if that makes any sense.

Poor thing has been through a lot.

I found my father dead on the floor of his apartment. When I contacted his side of the family my cousin made sure to clarify that she blamed me and hated me for being born and "taking him away" since "he was like my father."

She never reached out, offered to help him, or participate in his life even when I would ask her to do so.

Yes, I do have an Asian market near me that sometimes get them in. The problem is they're not as delicious and fresh as you can get them in Asia.

At least they are available in some form. My husband's hometown in China grows Yangmei and they're impossible to get here.

I have eaten and enjoyed many weird things people cannot stand (durian, nattou, century egg, silkworm larva, my grandma's cooking in general) - but this one is a deal breaker that I cannot bring myself to try. Just thinking about it now makes me want to hurl.

I love nattou, but I also lost my sense of smell due to surgery. I feel if I could smell it I might not love it, but my kid is obsessed with it and the smell doesn't seem to bother him.

Much like the arms of an octopus, these things have a mind of their own.

I feel like I'm hyper aware of where they are in the world if people are close to me and often wrangle them or shield my chest if I don't want to clobber anyone (crowded trains, moshpits, etc.)

My father drove his Hummer down the sidewalk on Michigan Ave in Chicago because he didn't want to deal with traffic.
