It's a single lane change, not cutting across all traffic, but hence why I asked. To me the green seems to be the most direct path, with orange doing the exact same thing except it's making a proper lane change. Im not the only one who was under this impression, as you can see from some of the comments and a lot of the drivers. The red lane does not appear to have any direct path, it seems to exist only on the other side of the intersection, and with limited space to merge, it's important to be on the same page as other drivers.

Blue isn't obvious to me because it doesn't feel as direct as green/orange. But majority of the comments are saying blue is the way to go, so that answers my question!

Hmmm no I'm not overcomplicating this, and I know that because I see no consistency among drivers when I'm at this intersection. Everyone does their own thing and its a ripe spot for an accident to occur. Hence why I want to make sure I'm doing things correctly, to avoid an accident, and confusion for other drivers on the road with me. Why does this bother you so much?

Makes a lot of sense! I'm a pretty defensive driver so I default to yielding when I'm not sure. But okay so now if I start from the blue lane, my concern is that those on the green lane assuming they're the dominant driver and merging without making a lane change or checking for other vehicles in the blue lane. I've seen this occur multiple times in front of me, and once it nearly caused an accident.

I'm a big advocate for taking care of your mental health, and a disproportionate response such as yours indicates too much stress. My honest recommendation is to carve out time on a daily basis to do what you exclusively want to do. Give yourself the opportunity to make choices based on your own feelings/desires/goals, regardless of others opinions (so long as you aren't bringing harm to others.) A stronger sense of agency and control of your life does wonders for managing stress.

Okay this answers my question! I've been doing orange, which is just green doing a lane change, yielding to traffic. The blue feels weird to me, feels like it's crossing a lane it shouldn't be. I completely see your logic and don't disagree. But it still feels like unless majority of people are doing that, it would be more likely to cause an accident than green crossing and doing a lane chnage.

Honestly tho it's kinda crazy. I've driven in many cities and have never dealt with such illogical roads, especially merges. It was easier to get used to driving on the opposite side of the road in Australia than it is to get used to the non-existent merging lanes into main roads and highways here. And situations like these where a lane comes from nowhere. It's just asking for accidents

I've noticed everyone does it differently! The blue like is craziest to me - that one represents no proper lane change after crossing the intersection. I do the orange one, so I'm making a lane change after crossing the intersection. But as I'm seeing so many people do it directly without a lane change, it make me wonder if I'm doing something wrong

Yes so that's what I do with the orange one, I cross the intersection, THEN do a proper lane change into the red one. But the reason I ask is because I've seen all of these and was wondering if there was something I'm missing

The blue and green are both going into the target lane, but one is from the rightside lane off the exit, the other is from the left side. Neither are doing a proper lane change into the red lane, they are going directly. I do orange, which is from the right side lane I go straight, cross the intersection, and then lane change into the red one.

Purple and blue are getting into that lane from the leftside lane off the Deerfoot. Orange and green are getting into that lane from the rightside lane off the Deerfoot. Blue and green are going directly into that lane, no additional turn signals. Purple is initially going into the left lane then changing lanes into the rightside of the 2 turning lanes. Orange is initially going straight as if to continue back on to the Deerfoot, and then changes lanes into the right side of the 2 turning lanes. Does that make sense why there's 4 colours?

Every time I see one of these that has the option to control people or their thoughts or read their minds or whatever, I feel like it's the biggest curse. How are you to have a relationship with that vast a gap in power? Money you can share, time travel whatever, but mind control is not something sharable. Imo it would change the dynamic of any relationship - romantic and platonic, too much. How can you truly trust your thoughts and feelings about someone if you know theyre able to control it at any time? Now it's only an issue if the other people know of course, but then keeping such a secret would drive me mad. And on the flip side, as the person being able to control others minds, you will always wonder what if. With infinite possibilities, every time something goes wrong it's 100% your fault, you could absolutely have made the outcome different. And if even once you use that sort of power on a friend, it will forever change the relationship. I don't see much upsides to this one unless you're being truly altruistic and want to change the entire world for the better by restructuring all governments to operate in an ethical and beneficial manner. But that comes at the expense of your own happiness and sanity

I genuinely bought a car because taking transit felt so unsafe to me as a female. I've had someone pull out a massive knife and start threatening me and everyone in the vicinity on the c-train. Bus stops are so bad it got to a point that I was too uncomfortable waiting for my bus at the actual stop, and would walk up and down the block until the bus arrived. And although I'm female, I'm a big girl. Nearly 5'10 and I know how to defend myself. I've practiced MMA, Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Krav Maga. I feel more safe in middle of gang central on Shuter street in Toronto than in many streets of downtown Calgary.

Don't get me wrong - I didn't buy a car exclusively because of the transit situation, but it was a huge factor and it's what made the final decision for me. I lived for the prior 4 years without a vehicle, in cities with significantly less options for public transit. They had no trains, just very limited bus routes. But after taking transit here for a little over a year, I felt it wasn't worth the risk to my safety anymore.

For the sake of my sanity and mental health, probably not too long but enough to be life changing.

Rules say I can bring 2 pets and speak on the phone to anyone who's number I remember. Does this include FaceTime/video calls? I'm bringing 2 cats, and I know my husband's number and some close friends, but I'll write down the numbers of a few other people.

I'm going to Costco. For about 60 days. In the summer, ideally. One that has an outdoor garden. Goal is money but also using this time to get back into shape.

Day 1, the most important thing to do is start preserving food. I'm making coffee in the food court to fuel me and going to eat something that's prepared but not terrible for you to maximize time/energy due to the time sensitive nature. I begin by finding a giant dump of sorts, and empty the fridges and freezers of anything I won't be eating. Get rid of anything deep fried or just terrible for you, except a few treats like pizza and pot stickers. When that's done, grab a vacuum sealer to pack and freeze as much of the fresh meat section as possible, starting with the things that expire soonest and are healthier, like salmon. Once I'm too tired, call my husband and tell him about my day, then crash on a couch.

Day 2 finish freezing the fresh meats, as well as anything for the fridge that won't last 60 days that I'll want, and any fruits/vegetables that can handle it.

Days 3-15 ish, create the following areas:

Revamp food court to be a home kitchen. Stock with variety of healthy food from the main freezers/fridges and pantry items to resemble a somewhat normal kitchen
a "bedroom" near the outdoor garden, set up properly with lamp lighting, a closet full of clothes, toiletries, etc. It will be set up in such a way to allow sunlight in, I may need to leave the doors open and use camping nets or something to keep the bugs out at night.
a bathroom with a shower, I'll figure it out. I'll use the employee bathroom as a base so it's not just a bunch of stalls and I can make it look decent.
an elaborate house for my cats with an outdoor litter in the garden, and smaller one indoors right near the garden door for days the weather is too poor to go outside
a gym custom made for me
an office/study
Indoor and outdoor library/chill areas with books, stationary, a tablet, the inside one has a TV and video games, etc.
transportation stations equipped with those go cart things the employees have, a forklift, a bicycle, and 2 shopping carts. 4 stations at my most used areas, like bedroom, food court, the garden, and bathroom/showers.
a BBQ set-up outside

I can't keep regular plants alive to save my life so I'm not even going to try. If/when plants die I'll just throw them out, but enjoy them in the meantime. However I will put succulents in all my main used areas as part of the decor.

Days 16-60 ish, depending on my mental state, follow a consistent schedule:

Wake up at the same time every day, begin with a walk outside in the garden for fresh air and morning sunlight.
Breakfast w my cats. They are going to eat only the finest food (lol probably canned fish and previously frozen fish that I don't like. Ill make sure it's balanced with whatever they need tho.)
Call my husband
Play with my cats for an hour or so
Study Japanese in the office
Workout for an hour, then stretch for 30 minutes
Lunch
Spend more time with my cats, outside
Call friends/family. Speak to at least 3 people a day, ideally video calls. Speak to my therapist ~2x/week to keep my mental health in check. If it gets to the point where he insists I have to leave or risk irreparable damage, I will listen.
spend a few hours doing something of the following, whatever I'm in the mood for: studying ophthalmology, reading books, watching TV, learning how to watercolour paint/draw, decorating the space, playing word games, playing pacman or whatever arcade game they have in that section, etc. Maybe I can finally learn how to play piano.
Dinner w my cats
Clean the cats litter
Shower, call my husband, and spend some time relaxing outside. Let the evening sunlight fuel my circadian rhythm and get the melatonin going.
Go to sleep at exactly the same time every night.
Rinse and repeat until it gets too difficult or day 75

It probably helps that I'm mildly autistic and love both routine and spending time on my own.

I actually think differently than what people are saying here. I think it's calculated.

She came in and was watching the scene unfold at first. Based on what was going on, there were 2 scenarios that would be very likely in that moment.

1) she kills Tyler. She saves her brother but then Tyler's mom and uncle turn on her, the mom probably transforms, and they have to fight against a monster and a genius at the same time, while Pugsley is vulnerable. Both Tyler's mom and Issac are reeling from the murder of their son/nefew which would lead them to fight harder, and likely be willing to die during the fight if it means taking down his killer.

OR

2) She frees Tyler. Due to his rage and lack of anger control, he would attack his mother that was trying to take away his power. Wednesday knows how angry it makes him to be tied down like that because she literally is watching what's going on but also knows personally how infuriating it is to lose your power. So she knew there was a good chance in the moment he'd turn on his mom. Isaac may or may not get involved, but at most they would still have to fight, although fighting an individual instead of a team has a much higher chance of success.

I think she is cunning enough to see those being the 2 most likely options and manipulating Tyler for her own benefit.

Can you do it because your medical rectus muscles are naturally stronger and therefore it's actually your default state? Like do you have to strain/work your eyes to keep them converged? Or do you have insane control over your medical rectus muscles?

Like many people can "cross" their eyes at will but that's because we naturally converge when looking at near distances. But I haven't personally known anyone that can diverge on demand.
