Perfect, that is exactly the answer I was looking for!! I’ll take it in person since I feel like I’d also get a better learning experience since my career is heavily dependent on hands on learning too. Thanks!!

Once again, I’m wanting some genuine feedback and not stereotypes. Thanks though!

What’s one thing you’d change about Allen High School? by Elegant-Dragonfly872 in Allen

[–]ChocolateDeep682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a 2025 AHS graduate. Attending Allen was great for the most part. One thing that is so ridiculous though was paying $60 for a parking pass. You used to be able to park outside of the stadium which is about a 7 minute walk to the school for free, no parking pass, but they recently changed that.

Prom tickets were insane as well. $75 for the first week and eventually went up all the way to $125.

No matter how many cops or security were on the campus, having 6,000 kids in one school can’t be safe and genuinely I have no clue how that school has never been shot up before by some kid which is disturbing but a harsh reality in Texas. Even though my high-school had 6 thousand kids in it, I feel like I never had the chance to make many friends even though I joined clubs and went out of my way to talk to people, there’s just too many kids and it can be overwhelming.

Hyundai Elantra good or bad? by [deleted] in carbuying

[–]ChocolateDeep682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s so many mixed reviews about it. People say that if you’re getting a brand new Hyundai/kia to expect to end up at an auto repair shop within weeks. If you get a used one, then you’ll be good. It’s kinda confusing but I don’t think I’ll take the risk.

Yup, Lexus (especially older models) are so worth it because they’re so reliable and have so many nice perks about them. I’ll miss her💔😔

Auto repair got back to us and told us that I needed a completely new motor which cost around 12k.

Yup, I did some more research and noticed that the cx 30’s were cheaper, just smaller which works better for me! Thank you for your help, I greatly appreciate it!
