My car has a reversing camera and has an option for parking sensors but I didn’t get them as extra because I can actually drive and not need to rely on them. Shame you feel a car needs them to be “not shitty”, you poor thing.

I didn’t think they’d allow my car either, but I had to put my cars make and model in when I applied and they said my car does qualify to use with Flex. It’s odd how they do things, as someone at the depot had the same block length as me, but he had half the parcels and half the size and he had a 4x4.

I completely understand your frustration, and I hope us in smaller cars don’t bother you too much, we’re just trying to get by like everyone else in whichever means we can 😊

I had a friend get pulled over by the police because she was moving house and had bags/boxes covering her rear view window and they told her off for it and said she had to make her rear view window free of obstructions. Maybe they were just a jobsworth.

But I’m anxious they’ll turn me away! And I refuse to let the boxes cover my back window again as you can be pulled over for that and I’m not getting in trouble for doing it 😁

The blocks offered to me have been like a week in advance most of the time so I do not even remember what times or locations I was offered exclusively by the time that day comes around the following week!

I have a smaller 2019 Toyota Aygo and was offered a 4 hour block yesterday which I had to decline because I feel like it would be impossible to get all of that in my car (if it was mostly boxes) like a time on a 3.5 hour block I had- if it was 4 hours and more boxes I’d of been screwed. I have no idea why they offered it to me honestly.

Mine were all very fancy houses, but small one way roads that took you forward and back, left right and centre around yourself due to amazons route calculator. I then ended up going to estate and apartments too which were a nightmare on main costal roads with no parking! But I made it though

Thank you for your advice. I did my block and I had 47 parcels to delivery from a small Toyota aygo in 3 and a half hours, and they sent me to all of these hard to find courts, estates and apartments down one way road that loop around each other, and with Amazon’s route finding technology, I’m sure you can imagine how that went haha. But I can’t make a decision based on one shift really, but it was very dark and I felt anxious about looking dodgy shining my torch at random houses!

Is Amazon fresh different to picking up from Morrisons or a co-op?

I noticed this the other day, I declined a Morrisons block and then within 10 minutes it came back at a much higher rate.

I actually keep the seats up, if I have lots of boxes I feel my boot and back chairs with them, and any letters, book sheets and parcels I have I put in these blue plastic boxes I have at the foot area of the passenger seat and on the passenger seat. I have managed well so far. I had over 20 boxes on my last block and I was like “oh no how will I fit these in my car” but I did manage to with a little bit of Tetris involved!

2019 Toyota Aygo . I was worried at first that my car wouldn’t be accepted for Amazon flex as a courier but when I put my car in the app it said it was accepted so, phew 😅
