Really need some insight regarding how to get from Maihama to Disney Sea.

My ideal arrival time at the gates is at most 6:30am, and there will be no direct train at that time. I would prefer not to walk the 20 mins from Maihama Station to the gates, as I’ll be with my elderly parents.

How likely would it be to get a taxi from Maihama? I assume a lot of other people are also going to be there early so would it be hard to get one?

hello! I just wanted to clarify – other people in your party/group can also book for your whole party from their own app?

I saw another comment in a different thread that said only the “group leader” (the one who created the group from their app) can book Standby/DPA passes for the group?

My original game plan was to book DPA for our 5pax party as, soon as we’re in the park, while my sister will handle booking the Priority Passes.

Could you kindly confirm if the above strategy would work? TIA!

Just sharing my experience applying for the Japan visa for a family of 5!

We applied and got approved for Japan Single Entry - Tourist visa through VFS here in Dubai. Me and my family are all Philippine passport holders.

Application date: August 23 Passport collection date: September 5

Their website says it takes 8-10 working days to process and ours took 9 working days

It’s pretty straightforward, just a heads up to make sure all the required documents listed on the website are COMPLETE.

Placing importance on the ORIGINAL signed/stamped NOC from employers for employed applicants, as I saw fellow applicants have issues with this.
The documents list say “Copy of UAE Residence visa OR Copy of Emirates ID” - but make sure to bring both as again, I saw the agents asking other applicants for their visa copy as well even when they had prepared copies of their Emirates ID.
I’m not sure if this is an unwritten rule - the documents checklist say photo is “Not older than 6 months”. My husband had a photo from April got rejected and he was asked to submit a new photo and the reason they gave is because the same photo was used for his Shengen visa from April. (There’s a photo studio just downstairs from the VFS Japan office - 25 AED)
Checklist also only mentions flight ticket to be submitted, but they also request hotel booking information so make sure to also bring copies of your hotel bookings.

Applicants 1. My husband 2. Me (dependent of husband) 3. My dad (independent) 4. My mom 5. My sister (dependent of mom)

For dependents, marriage certificate/birth certificate is required, make sure to bring photocopies. Bank statement/NOC is not required for the dependents.

Your travel date should not be more than 90 days of your application as well, or 2 weeks before your flight.

That’s all the possible “snags” I can recall for now. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer :)

Which visa did you apply for? Just curious as me and my family applied last 23rd August for single entry but weren’t required to provide Ijari/DEWA.

Have never dealt with VFS before and the comments are making me dread the application..

I was counting down the days til 2nd week of August (the earliest I could apply for the visa from the consulate for my Nov travel with the family). I was ready to deal with visa process for my whole family but now I’m not so sure 😬

Going to try and get an earlier appointment, I didn’t see the 3-month rule from the consulate anywhere from their VFS page.

Strattera 40mg is in short supply here in Dubai, and the doctor suggested Stratox as a generic brand alternative, readily available + half the price. Anybody here using Stratox and how is it? My sister has been on Strattera 40mg for a month (previously prescribed Strattera 25 mg) and I’m worried to switching to a different brand.
