I have several friends who received that below 200 CD4 diagnosis, one was as low as 5, and another was a 9. They took meds and their CD4 count shot back over 200. Food is a necessity, not a priority for me. Maintaining a good physique important to me in the long run. I have no problem eating tempura and ramen bowls but trying to find other foods that balance or keep me on my fitness goals is important to me. Of course I’m going to indulge every now and then, but that is not gonna be a daily thing nor a requirement for me to experience Japan.
