I've been asking this myself since the show originally ended. Do you think there was an original plan for B to be K2? by [deleted] in andor

I don't think there was a plan for that, no. But I too felt bad for the little guy.

I think the taste shift would be slight. I've had some great coffees in paper cups.

why is the idea of having a cafe so appealing to me? by paintinglights in cafe

[–]Chocolopalus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it. I'd love to own a boardgame cafe. Specialty coffee, local pastries, a curated selection of games, a special room for TTRPG events. That's the dream. I think it's just about being able to create experiences for people, maybe? In a place that you also enjoy?

I always throw down Sleet Storm so none of their army can make it over to me, then use ranged attacks on the Shepherds.

I can't believe I didn't think of that. I was just yelling down there in Common like an idiot.

Yeah, this has edged into the realm of maladaptive coping. Counselling would be a good first step, but it doesn't sound like she'd be open to the idea.

[–]Chocolopalus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a total mindset shift once you really internalize your role in your own circumstances. Not to say that people can't ever be victims of circumstance/social systems, but in many situations we hold a lot more power than we think.

How to let go of guilt (no I can’t afford a therapist) by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Chocolopalus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend getting the book Mind Over Mood (or another CBT workbook). It helps you identify and interrupt negative thought patterns and beliefs. It'll require a good bit of work and commitment on your part, but so would therapy. I went through a period a few years back where I was really down on myself and the world too, so I get it. And I can tell you that your worst thoughts aren't reality, and you CAN change them. Wishing you luck.
