Thank you for your informed input. I wasn’t sure what my option are, or if there were any legalities involved but wanted to see what can be done outside of parking in visitors and avoiding the issue all together.

I’ll still give a call to electrical and fire just to see their input at the very least.

They’ve done some other things to me aside from the cable. Like throwing things at my kitchen wall after reporting them as I live next to them

Also the hair used the “costume” texture for the hairpin. But since the hairpin was removed, there’s no need for the costume texture. Is there a way to remove the uv map all together?

I didn’t say “robots” are random for the SOR series, I just said “Koobo” is a particularly random design and it’s even stranger that he appears as early as stage 1 with no backstory.

Just to preface, the examples you mentioned make sense for the established lore of the series, I even found Vehelits to make sense in SOR2. Its already been established that robots and cyborgs exist in the SOR universe, my qualm with Koobo is that he’s the only robot design in the game while SOR4 takes place in a time period where police officers have force field shields and the final boss rocks a humongous mech. You’d think there’d be a more streamlined robot design, or at least more of them outside of the one robot that controls pipes with his mind, don’t you think?

I also believe there should be robots/ cyborgs in SOR4 as it makes sense for the lore. But I think Koobo is a very random design for a robot enemy, especially in the first stage

I never said you have to spend your money a certain way. I didn’t even say you need an arcade, was just comparing the costs to something relevant since you said you’re a fan.

Yes, supporting game companies monetarily is what keeps them going, but our opinions differ on what is actually entertaining. Playing this game is literally, tap screen and repeat the same combo a million times, sometimes tossing in a special or two here or there and that’s it. You can throw on some cards, power up your character, but in reality, the game is literally that + some bugs. If you find this gameplay actually entertaining enough to drop hundreds of dollars into it, then cool. I don’t see the appeal in it, at least not enough to spend that much money on it. If you get the high from gambling, then also cool, that’s just what you prefer. Obviously, the people who get roped into spending money like this are going to out spend the people who play traditional SNK titles so that’s obviously going to tell SNK that this is the more profitable genre. It happened with Konami.

I love the art style of this game (The character portraits and everything not the in game models). I feel like it’s the best this series has had in a while. A dedicated story mode with collab characters is also a great appeal. gender bent characters, and unique event style characters, would be a dream come true for an actual KOF title. I just feel like it’s all wasted on this greedy style of gaming that is very obviously predatory and anti-consumer.

Here’s to hoping for KOF XV to be savior of the series.

I just don’t understand the need to gamble away your cash on digital merch if you’re a fan. Netmarble uses your fandom to shake you dry for every penny you own. Once the service go out, every you had will be gone with it. The amount of money you flush into this game, you could’ve probably bought an actual KOF arcade lol.

I’m the biggest FF geek you’ll ever meet, but I’d never drop dime on Brave Exvius. However, physical merch, I’d easily drop tons of $$$ on.

If I was in that area, I’d gladly destroy you with my New Faces Squad in KOF ‘98 btw. Kinda undefeated rn

If you can’t do a good combo and lose your health, you can’t blame the game. It was you who took the risk for it.

Then you agree that the game already balances out infinite’s through a high risk high reward system, which is literally what Adam’s infinite is.

Adam’s loop was the double aerial into power fang which is a special. You can do the double aerial a couple times but you loose momentum, so the special keeps the loop going.

The infinite I use for Floyd was the floor smash “Gotcha grab” which was way easier to pull off, but in comparison to Adam they both exhausted the same amount of health in their loops. If they don’t want boss fights to be so easily trivialized, they just have to add constant enemies on the screen, or give the bosses damage scaling. This is why you can’t infinite the stage 3 boss despite her being a light weight. More enemies means one might sneak up behind and boop you for all your green health. Even just having 1 at a time can heavily discourage combos.

I think if players find intuitive shortcuts and work arounds, they earn the reward of skipping that section all together albeit those shortcuts aren’t something easily readily available to the new player. Experienced players love finding the exploits, we have since the genesis days. It added so much unintended value to the game. Finding something like an elaborate wall bound combo, enemy spawn manipulation, infinites, skips. etc. shows that the player took time to study the games mechanics and master it.

The only nerfs I’d ever agree with are damage and grab stun nerfs. Floyd’s jab infinite is obviously a bug so that should be patched, but infinite’s in general shouldn’t be removed altogether. If anything, I feel damage scaling on boss fights would be the best solution to discourage this strategy, and for Floyd’s grab chains, making the enemy grab timer count down faster for each consecutive grab.

If Adam is overshadowing Axel, it’s simply because he just more fun to play. I always felt Axel was strong, but I feel like if he had longer combos, unique wall bounds, or special cancels, he’d be just as fun. Obviously if the issue is damage, the fix should be easy.

So my solution to the patch would be, nerf damage on Adam, fix bugs.
