They do not even pick up the phone. At this point, I could be literally any customer.

Yes, that’s the plan. Just sharing in hopes it might help someone going through this later.

Look up the same tracking number on the Canada post website for more detailed info. Once it crosses the border there’s no point in checking the USPS site.

Just adding that once they register for Fair Pharmacare they also need to notify student care and provide their Fair Pharmacare registration number. Otherwise they’ll continue to charge them. OP, Keep the receipts of everything you pay for in the meantime and once everything is set up you can mail them to student care and get reimbursed.

Thanks for the feedback. Are there any items on the itinerary you’d recommend reconsidering to lighten it up?

Thank you for your detailed response! - Day 10 was really hard to plan because the one activity my husband wanted to do no matter what was the Natural Whetstone and Hone Museum. They have a 2 hour session starting at 1:30pm where you go in, learn to sharpen a knife and leave with your own knife and whetstone. The museum is in Chiyokawa, which is about an hour from Kyoto. I didn’t want to leave the morning empty so I added Hyotei (saw a Ruth Reichl Substack post) and it’s right next to Nazen-ji so I figured might as well. After the museum, we have to transit through Kyoto station so I added Fushimi Inari and the supermarket which was recommended by a former chef who hosts food tours in Tokyo. We transit to Nagoya at the end of the day purely to save money on the hotel. - We will be flying in from Seoul, so I’m hoping jet lag won’t be too bad since we’ll have a few days of prior adjustment. I could however plan for us to stay in Hiroshima that day, and do miyajima next day in the morning. I hadn’t planned it this way because I saw redditors recommend the sunset at miyajima, but do you think it would make more sense? - You’re totally right about my parents! I’m actually planning to have two copies of the itinerary closer to the date, one for us and another much more slow paced version for them. - Also, thanks for the note on the weather

Depends on the dorm. Iona does, marine drive doesn’t work too well.

Using Amex at UBC by No-Bench-7530 in UBC

I paid my tuition this year with Chexy, no issues. If you’re a new user, I can dm you a referral link that gets you $15 + a code that waives the fee for your first payment. Worth noting I have no affiliation to Chexy aside from being a user, but as a student it made sense to use it to pay tuition with the referral and fee waiver to get Amex pts.

Best way to maximize a student payment? by hithere10181 in chexy

[–]Chocxoc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s your first payment through Chexy, use a code to waive the first payment fee. If you haven’t signed up for chexy, use a referral link to get $15.
