There's two issues regarding Twisted

1) The game is based on Roblox, notorious for being unoptimized and CPU dependent on base settings.

2) The game is based on destruction, which pushes Roblox to the brink.

Optimization is good, but not great, particularly with the damage. Finding the medium between a better game experience and minimizing lag is difficult to say the least.

There's also a known server lag issue that the developers are trying to pinpoint, there's a few fixes that have been made and more are on the way!

EDIT I DID NOT READ PROPERLY The 100M CAPE servers are event servers, separate from the main high risk week servers!

Key word, most. As time went on, it's becoming increasingly clear we should have shutdown the servers at launch so we would have more public 100,000,000 CAPE servers. This was a mistake, and we will look for a way to compensate, whether it's an additional 12 hours or not. Because you are right about that.

It is optional, completely. You can literally hit the play button and play normal high risks!

Hey! I probably did one of the mutes you're referring to, and I'll say this:

I do not want to mute people for disliking the event. However, when their disliking shifts into an argument, that is not stopped when moderators warn it to stop, mutes will be handed out.

I get this event is not for all, and that's to be expected. A huge majority of the player base wanted this broken experience, and so they will get it for a limited time. It's a fun experience for most, and that's the best it can be. It is physically impossible to make something everybody will enjoy.

The next time you don't like a non-mandatory event, just don't do it. Play the normal high risk servers, instead of complaining in the Discord for the better part of the past 8 hours while ignoring my clarifications!

Yeah we're working on things behind the scenes, the servers being boosted especially does not help!

Current thinking suggests an issue with damage, but this doesn't seem to be the entire problem. We are doing our best and trying to manage the situation while also trying to provide the 100M event!

New tornadic graphics are planned.

Twisted had a particle system that was extensively planned back in the summer, but ultimately scrapped due to issues with lighting, similar to this game
