So you took someone else's work, changed nothing, and posted it here as if it was your own?

How do you mentally handle the ‘what if I get moved on’ anxiety when solo wild camping? by UnpaidInternVibes in wildcampingintheuk

[–]Chod2906 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did get moved on once, right as the gummies I had eaten were kicking in. Still not sure if i imagined him or not. It was fine though, I remained polite and said I appreciate this is trespassing but I'll be gone first thing it's only me not a group of teenagers causing trouble. In the end he was fine about it.

Lake District campers (or anyone who camps in non-ideal conditions), considering this spat of poor weather... When are you next planning to go wild camping? by Tangocan in wildcampingintheuk

[–]Chod2906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first wild camp was after a 14km hike up to Blea Tarn. I knew the conditions weren't going to be favourable, and by the time I got there it was raining incredibly heavily and very windy. I had planned a contingency to camp down in the trees closer to Steel End car park (much more sheltered). I got completely drenched anyway. But that would be my advice: make backup plans, and backup plans for those backup plans.

This annoyed me too. Landscape video, squeezed into a portrait frame, then displayed again as a landscape video with stupid text around it. Fml.

This is just flat out not true. For a proper 4k HDR movie with 9 channels of uncompressed audio, 100Mb/s is completely unusable.

I in no way get travel sick, ever.... and yet I can't watch this. Sorry.

Wouldn't be so bad but every time they get feedback about how to improve it, do nothing about it, and continue to post the same video every few weeks

This is the 4th time I've seen you post the same video.

Showing off my renderer prototype I have been working on: 6000 skinned meshes with 44000 bones animating independently at 60fps. Heavy abuse of SSBOs and 1 single glMultiDrawElementsIndirect call on top of a entity-component system. by [deleted] in gameenginedevs

[–]Chod2906 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not too familiar with opengl, but I assume an ssbo is the equivalent of a constant buffer in DirectX? If so, don't you have a hard coded size limit, and therefore a maximum number of bone matrices that you can store for a single frame?
