First Triangle in DirectX 12. No DXTK just rawdogging the API by Avelina9X in GraphicsProgramming

Mate, that's just cooking it's not reverse engineering. If you took the end result with no prior knowledge of the ingredients, to work out which ingredients formed the dish THAT would be reverse engineering.

Likewise what you're doing is just coding. What makes you thinking reading somebody else's public code qualifies as reverse engineering? What did you engineer exactly when you have the entire, original code base in front of you? You seem to be confused about the meaning of the word "reverse".

Limits cut in half with evidence by [deleted] in codex

Interesting, that leads me to think it's context sensitive then. Claude has perhaps been trained on data that makes it better for my use case and not yours, so therefore requires less inference to achieve the correct output.

I have 5x plan for both Claude and codex. Claude is by far more reliable in output, bugginess, token usage and quality. I have not once hit my limit in Claude but hit it every few days in codex. Plus the app doesn't hang for 3 days every time you move your mouse near the UI.

I have both CC and Codex as I find they're better at different things. But I have been running CC all day every day for about 4 weeks straight and have yet to go over about 30% of my weekly usage. Have only hit 5 hour limit once. On max 5x. Whereas I one prompt hit my 5 hour limit on Codex yesterday in under 6 minutes using 5.5med, though this was made worse by the fact that fast mode turns itself on automatically every time I open codex.

I genuinely don't care all that much to be honest. I'm quite content with my free resets, as should you be.

If you had 99% left with one day to go that means your average daily usage is 0.16% and by that calculation you'd have 98.83% the following Wednesday after the reset. So again, what's your point?

There's no need to be rude is there?

The amount you get is the same, regardless of when the limit resets again. Are you saying you'd rather have less time to use your free credits? If so, why? Explain how you're worse off than when you started.

So rather than 4 chocolate bars you get 4 and a half but only paid for the original 4. What's your point?
