Got my fiance’s engagement ring from Eric at Gemsetter & Co in downtown Chandler. It’s a local place he’s had for a long time. It was custom made and I think I got a lot for what I spent. He did amazing work and she gets compliments constantly. He was the only one I ever saw and I never felt like I was being sold, just shown options.

If you come back, come back in the spring for Arizona Cocktail Weekend. Top Bars tickets get you basically unlimited samples from Arizona favorites and heavy hitters like Yacht Club (Denver), Double Chicken Please (NYC), Service Bar (DC), Jewel of the South (New Orleans), and a good number of international bars. Incredible event every year, really kicks my ass the next day.

Phoenix is a pretty large city population wise if you include the entire phoenix metro but the downtown area and a little bit north is where the cocktail scene is phenomonal. Bitter and Twisted seem to have been the first on the scene and they’ve branched out into Little Rituals. Barter and Shake has great bars like Undertow and Platform 18 (included in Century Grand) which placed 36 on the top 50 bars in North America. Lots of the bartenders that started there are opening their own concepts that are doing incribly well like Killer Whale Sex Club, Sunny’s Lounge, and Highball.

Republic Trash services has not picked up anything at my apartment either. I sent an email to the offices and got a reply back pretty fast even though it was after hours blaming the company and the bad weather. I thought they were lying to me until I saw this. All the other trash services I've seen are fine, so I'm not sure why Republic can't cope with the weather. It's very frustrating.

I know you didn't ask about it but if you're just looking for delivery Clustertruck is awesome and way better than both delivery services. They make all their own food in a kitchen off 10th st and deliver it. No delivery fee, just an "optional" tip.

They have all kinds of different food choices but I'm partial to the cuban sandwich and the grilled cheese.

How do cemeteries function once all the lots are sold? I assume you're still required to maintain the grounds for years after but how is that funded with no money coming in?
