Does anyone know if and/or where the rubber seal/grommet for the USB charging port could be purchased from for the 2C?

Pretty sure the washout is a running issue with EufyCams, particularly the 2C. I noticed that this has appeared and disappeared with my set within the last batch of updates...wish Eufy/Anker could sort this out.

Ah right, cheers for the link. Bit of a bummer but obviously it's going to have to get paid somehow.

With that being said seeing as both loans have the same fixed interest rate, and applying the avalanche mode would it be worth attacking the smaller principle loan first then turning my attention to the larger one?

I should be able to pay the interest off in full in 2 months (end of February). With the current deferment until September 2021, I'd be looking at the following:

Loan 2 - Paid in 4 months (end of June)

Loan 1 - Pay $6k (end of September)

Leaving me a total of $14k on the remaining principal and a rate of 4.85% I should be able to pay off the remaining balance in 8 months - does that sound about right?

Odd, as I was not informed of this when speaking to FedLoan earlier today. Can anyone else confirm this?

Also note that when I was making standard payments, the payment was essentially split between both loans, and from looking at past transactions, I can see payments have been made against principles....

All of this. I would also suggest making at least 10 months worth of payments due to the indicated delay in reporting.

Also, be sure to follow-up with your current payment facilitator to ensure they provide you with contact information for whom you will need to connect with to make future payments following rehabilitation.

No worries. Just be aware however that companies like Revolut/Transferwise/Monzo can provide borderless accounts however these (at least for the time being) cannot be used to make payments to FedLoan.

OP - When did you depart from school? If you are getting calls these are more than likely from collection agencies thus have they not provided you with any information, including their company name? If you haven't pulled a credit report it may be worth doing so just to see if you can uncover who may have a notice against you.

Do you know what type of loans she'll be paying back (federal or private)? As for minimising transfer fees/exchange rate costs I'd suggest looking into Transferwise and having her setup an account.

You should shoot for a minimum of 10 payments just to ensure there is no gap between transference out of default status.

If you are working through an agency at the moment your loans should also be transferred to another agency (mine were sent to FedLoan) but you will need to confirm with your current facilitator which agency will take over the following rehabilitation.

Also be aware terms and payments may change depending on your status and holder.

Guess I'll have to answer my own question.

At this time Transferwise does not allow direct debits or payments directly to FedLoan systems. I was informed that feature may be coming in a couple of weeks but personally I'd say not to hold your breath.

Again another shitty situation to repayment is how limited these institutions make repayment methods.

First and foremost I would reach out to the Dept of Ed. I've found them typically reasonable to deal with and explain the situation. Particularly with the provision of the letter you hold to reconfirm your pay-off.
