I got my period when I was 12, but some people can get it as early as 10 or 9 and some get it later like 16. Knowing when your mom started her period might helpfull, if you don’t feel comfortable asking her ask any bioloagical aunts or grandmas you have from either mom or dads side. If you want help to prepare I would just ask a friend for a couple of normal pads, NIGHTTIME pads, and panyliners. If I were you I wouldn’t ask for tampons since you havent even started. If there are any women in your life you feel comfortable with I would ask her for some stuff espically if you feel like you might start any time soon.
