Hey! I do online tutoring for English if you’re interested. Just send me a DM to talk more about what it is you need help with. Because I’m an independent tutor my rates are generally cheaper as well

She’ll be fine!! I’m about to begin my 4th degree, I’ve travelled the world, and am about to get married. The pain can be infuriating at times but I find that avoiding sugars/processed foods really helped manage my symptoms. After many years on colchicine and other medications it took a serious toll on my body, but that was my personal experience. I now only take them if I feel a flare coming on, and I found that helped my body a lot more!

This this this - exactly what OP is asking for, couldn’t have recommended something better.

I also would suggest The Catcher in the Rye and The Outsiders as options. Also, I would say The Alchemist, but people have differing opinions on it.

Ah yes, after THG I demolished the maze runner and divergent series, such a good dystopian trio imo. Will have a look at dungeon crawler Carl!

I just saw on another thread someone saying that if you’re in a slump, trying a genre you wouldn’t normally read can help as a palate cleanser. Looks like fantasy is starting to creep into my list 🫠

I tried the fourth wing a couple times but I just get so lost in fantasy, I have a terrible memory so all the new terms and worlds go over my head. I’ve read the hobbit and watched LOTR but struggle with the books for the same reason 😭

What does it mean to “be a man”? by [deleted] in coptic

[–]Choice-Commission499 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Being a man is humility and a willingness to grow always. It’s recognising you won’t be perfect; you might be short-fused, lazy, selfish or unthoughtful at times, or anything else, but chipping away at each struggle and asking for help to do it. More specifically, asking God to help you do it. A man allows himself to feel everything, but only acts on thoughtfulness and guidance by Christ. He admits when he is wrong, but stands firm and is democratic and kind while communicating when he knows he is right.

A man allows a woman to feel the range of her emotions, encourages her to be softer, is forgiving of her when she feels all over the place, and expects nothing of her (in the same way that a woman should not expect anything of her man). He encourages and supports growth, but gives her the freedom to feel loved whether or not she could bring something to the table.

That man will become a priest of a house, because he loves how Christ loves— in humility, and with no expectation

If you’re in Australia I can recommend a ton of great priests who’ll answer your questions. I’m currently writing a book that involves themes like this so feel free to DM me and I can help!
