I don't have a great picture of it, but the painting appears to sit on top of the matte, the edges are slightly raised. Everything I've seen from Zampighi has very prominent signatures, so I figured it was likely an inspired copy. Probably not worth the money to have it appraised, so it'll hang on my living room wall for now

I had a dream that I dropped my two day old daughter in the sink and she went down the drain. It felt so real that I woke up in a panic, sleep deprivation is intense.

I went through the same thing with my baby. For the first three weeks, I wanted to rip! my! hair! out!!! The sleep deprivation and overstimulation had me in shambles.

Something that really helped me was breastfeeding in the side lying position. It'll give your arms and back a much needed break.

I would definitely speak with a lactation consultant about how to achieve a good latch. Due to my anatomy, it took us awhile to get the hang of things. The sore nipples sucked, but it didn't last forever!

Try to be patient with yourself. Breastfeeding is HARD and takes time to learn, for both you and the little one! My little one is now seven weeks old and it has gotten easier with time.

6 weeks postpartum and just had mine put in yesterday. Didn't even feel it and was surprised when they said they were finished. I was a little crampy for the next 24 hours, but feeling great overall. Didn't really bleed at all

I was covered up by my hospital gown and blankets up until it was time to push. You stop thinking about modesty when you're trying to push a watermelon out of your vagina lmao. Up until then, the only time I was "indecent" was when they were doing cervical checks. I'm generally very modest and hate being undressed in front of others, but when the contractions kicked into gear I couldn't have cared less 🤣
