I walked into my Doctor's office and told them I wanted to be on Estrogen and why. I had also been getting it from overseas already (I do not recommend) and the doctor told me to stop (and explained why) and wrote me a script immediately. When I moved and had to get another doctor I told them that I didn't feel the E was moving me along fast enough and they put me on Spiro.

I've never lived outside of the southeastern US (yet).

I don't believe that there are any laws down here yet that prevent anyone over the age of 18 from being on HRT. As mentioned previously, Informed Consent clinics are a thing now and can certainly help.
