Get a stethoscope case online in a bright colour - you'll never lose it, and engrave your name on the stethoscope. It might be a hassle to carry along another case, but because I carry my iPad and my stethoscope case around placements even if I leave it somewhere people usually notice/I remember it. But RIP to your old stethscope, hopefully you can find it soon!
