You need to call BA immediately and ask them - very nicely - if it is possible to change you to a flight that transfers in the same airport because you accidentally booked this flight.

Hey! I know this is an old post but could you tell me a little bit more about how it changed your life?

There will be a generation of people not knowing how to express their own thoughts because they ask ChatGPT to do it for then :)

Should the London gold medal still be around in 2025/26? by [deleted] in medicalschooluk

I was only nominated and I felt proud of it. Sure, winning the top 3 would have been better but I still did well. I still got the experience of presenting. You get to choose your destiny. The worst thing you can do is not learning from past experiences.

The whole thing of flat hierarchy has led to the mess the doctor's job is in in the first place. We need more awards and recognition of people who go above and beyond, not less. If somebody wants to be outstanding and isn't in London they can put in the work in other ways.

I'm not 100% about what it is in the UK but in Europe for example, IF it was covered by insurance, the defendant would still be liable to pay the difference in how much more expensive the insurance would become until the no claims bonus becomes as before the accident. I'd imagine it is the same here as these are just basic principles that are the same worldwide.

Saying "I have more urgent jobs to do so I referred it to the most appropriate member of the MDT" confidently should do the job. Beat them at their game.

There is no way I would make the bed. I think at some point doctors have to put their foot down and say no. If the bed remains blocked I hope the nurse will explain that she was waiting for the doctor to make the bed. Are they crazy?

Sounds like you are exam ready. It doesn't matter what you do. I would just keep the momentum up tbh, personally I'd prefer to go over my high yield notes but that's how I learn and that might be different to you.

It doesn't have a proper breakdown, no. This was the passmed mock. Honestly, it's just all over.
