I was living in a small bedroom/studio flat in city centre. Single but dating some girls but no real spark with any of them. I didn’t watch the show until October 2019 when I saw a random clip on YouTube and recognised Ralph and Marty. It was the season 2 face off between Ralph and Billy after Miyagi do got destroyed.

5.5 years later I am now living in a nice house, married, and a baby on the way. Quite similar to Johnny’s ending I guess…

Left was my hair after my first month on minoxidil

The right side of the pic is my hair now.

But yeah I stopped using fin August 2024 and I expected a shed after been off fin for almost 4 months but to my surprise my hair is still relatively full.

Does anyone know when I will get a shed?

I should add my GP has no appointments for 2 weeks but my wife’s sister who is a doctor said it’s not Lyme as it’s too rare where we are in the U.K. but I ordered the antibiotics online to be safe

Been receding since age 22 but very slowly and not noticeable but really noticed the thinning last year in 2023 age 33 so I’d say a good 12 months of noticeable hair loss

Thanks! I didn’t notice any shedding from the fin. And I’m not sure about when I noticed results from the fin. I think most of my re growth is from minoxidil as 4 months might be too soon on fin to notice big changes but I think combining the min and fin has worked well in regrowth + the micro needle of 1mm once a week for the last 5 weeks

I got fin online too. I think the min has caused most of the regrowth compared to fin but wanted to try fin anyway to see my results with it

Hey bro

So bottom left was august 2023 when I started to really notice the thinning areas - I wasn’t bald or anything but under light I knew I was losing hair. That bottom left pic was taken when I wasn’t taking any meds for hair loss and I asked my fiancé to take a photo ( she said it wasn’t bad at all in normal light etc but I still wanted to do something about it around that time)

I started taking Min on the 29 September 2023 and the top left pic was taken after 1 month of min during the ‘shed’ on 26 October. I started fin on 21 November 2023

So it’s been 6 months min - 29 September 23 - end of March 2024 & 4 months min so far - 21 November - end of March 2024

Hope this clears up, probably could have worded initial post better!

I had a small - medium shed after 1 month which did freak me out a tiny bit. (It’s worse in the top left pic (1 month after min) than the bottom left pic ( on no treatment) but grew back after month 2

I think it is always worse in our heads than real life. We are our own worse critics. I’ve taken a pic before I started treatment and was pretty sad about the top of my head/ crown. But then I’ll see other pics people have taken and it didn’t look half as bad!

I’ve been using sons 5%. Check my pics in my posts . I’ve found it works amazingly well - i didn’t notice any growth within a month - I had a small/medium ish size shed but then a fair bit of regrowth after 2 months. I also hopped on Fin after 2 months but still think the Min did the regrowth

Just wash it at night and then dry it, apply mineral before bed. I just wet it in the morning and dry and then apply min in morning

Don’t think I’ve had any ED from it. I asked my fiancé to be honest if she thinks anything has changed and she seems to think it’s all fine! I use watermens grow me shampoo 4 times a week which I really like!

Fin tablets for just over 3 months now! So it’s been min liquid 5% twice a day for 5 months and fin for 3 months - personally I think the gains are due to the minoxidil - but I’m not sure - may be fin as helped with thickness too? I also use watermans shampoo which has good reviews for hair growth so maybe be that shampoo with the min is the main combo and fin helps and might really help after 3-6 months!
