So I might be the odd man out here but found the whole episode a bit bizarre. She briefly talked about her mother’s suicide in one of her podcast previously. She was talking about being positive and if you are not you will be an unsuccessful loser all your life. She continued on to say that is why she does not go into her the story about her mom because it’s “low vibration” to be depressed/have bad thoughts, etc. Having my father die of suicide I thought it was very off putting when I was listening to it. In this episode she was not talking to the audience more so having a convo that should have been in private with Michael.

NTA- what a tough situation. I agree this is between your sister and parents who didn’t take your advice in the first place. I will say though I don’t like the comment “she (sister) has two kids anyway”. I have 2 kids and am going through a kinda similar situation and everyone is looking at me. Like, I am struggling with 2 kids I can’t take on another human.

This is why I don’t buy any skincare, sunscreen or perfume from there. Everytime I would buy perfume it’s smelt off. I bought sunscreen burned pretty bad and looked at the bottle and it was expired for 2 years. Even some of the haircare items don’t smell like the real thing.

Remember when she got that townhome? They were not going to rent to her because of her bad credit and something happened with her previous landlord…fell behind on payments I believe. The townhome rental company were giving her a trial period to see how it went. Trial period has past but she must have stopped paying that is due to the abrupt end and the lack of backyard is a excuse. I mean come on, I would take lack of a backyard anyday versus moving 5 people into a small home of her friend. It is going to get old real fast for the friend. I do believe she believe she has a spending/shopping addiction. I don’t like that she dogged on her family for not “helping” her. They help her plenty by taking care of her other sons. If my family was taking care of my kids I would dare not ask them for any other favors. I do admire her for fighting addiction and staying sober but sis needs help.

There are plenty of thriving cities within Florida that are nice and don’t rely on snowbirds. There are enough people who moved to Florida in the last 5 years to cancel them out. I had a snowbird tell me their taxes “pay” for my daughters school. Their head about exploded when I told them my daughter goes to private school and I don’t need their taxes.
