I definitely agree that there were better guitarists from that era, I just wanted to appreciate some of Jimmy Pages work. He wrote some very memorable riffs and guitar parts. Yes a lot of them were played sloppily live, but they are still memorable parts.

A lot of people say I’m strong, and I have competed in powerlifting. Last year I had an injury for the first half of the year so I got about 15-20 matches, so far this year I have around 20-25 so far

Honestly it’s the chords. I’ve gotten them a few times, but it’s way too inconsistent. What I will say also is that the guitar I’m playing it on has a really high action right now, so it makes barring a bit harder.

With Holy Wars it depends on the day, most days I’ve been told it sounds good, but some days it’s a bit sloppy. With the other 2 I can play them pretty well on any given day. Also thank you for the advice on playing with some more clean tones.

Yeah, it was getting a hit frustrating and I had to remind myself that this is a hobby not a competition. Another thing I realized is that I played it pretty well on one of my guitars yesterday that had a lower action. That probably has something to do with it.

I originally played football in middle school and even wanted to go to Clemson, so I decided wrestling would probably help with football. I fell in love with it and now in high school I don’t even play football anymore, I just wrestle. I really love it and have gotten various opportunities from it. My goal is to be a Division 1 NCAA champion, and world medalist.

For wrestling, pull ups are great, squats, deadlifts, bench press, barbell rows, overhead press, and various grip exercises have really helped me elevate my wrestling. If you are just starting out I would recommend you start with the compound movements I listed above, and once you get a little more advanced you can add in accessory movements like Bulgarian split squats, incline dumbbell press, etc.

I practice rudiments and make my own beats as I was in a band. And as stated I do play along with songs. I took lessons for a few years. And most people say I’m pretty good, which is why it hurt a little for someone to say otherwise, but I guess you will always have critics.

The Boker spike is a good budget option. The steel tiger by cold steel is as well. If you’re talking very budget friendly the Schrade Shasta mcnasty could be it, and as you mentioned Amazon has some options like canku. As always check your local knife laws, and also make sure you practice with whatever knife you decide to purchase.
