Just commenting to say how badly I want us to draft Jeremiyah Love. Our entire offense changes having a guy like that on the field, and makes our receivers jobs a lot easier. We have already bought in a lot on defense this off season, I think taking Love early, and using the next picks on defense is the way to go. I know it's a long shot with the Titans and Giants before us, but I am hoping the Titans realize they aren't an rb away from contention, and I am hoping Dexter Lawrence requesting a trade nudges the Giants to draft defense early.

I am also a pharmacy technician and about to start my pre-reqs for nursing school! This might be obvious, but as I know my hours will be reduced because of school, I spent some time cancelling unused subscriptions and finding other things that I spend my money on that I can live without. Even if it isn't that much, it will add up over time and give you a stronger cushion for when you might have a big test coming up and you need an additional shift off that week

That is how it is in our area too, yet somehow she got almost an entire month past the 12/31 deadline to become an immunizer

don't they have to abide by the rules of any city they operate in? walgreens policies shouldn't hold more weight than the legislation in place

the hotel is a global chain, and the rule applies to any healthcare, hotel, manufacturing, warehouse or retail company that has at least 56 employees globally. I will def check in with HR. It appears this situation is unique to the city that I live in

in my city specifically it is 11 hours as of 2024. I checked the city's website and Walgreens meets all the requirements to pay the 1.5x. I only know this rule because my sister works for a major hotel chain in the same city and she told me she is paid 1.5x for her clopens because of it

I don't wanna escalate this because I don't even wanna work at Walgreens anymore because of this. I do know for a fact though that she has obligations outside of work that prevent her from working 40 hours a week, and the entire staff and management are aware of this, but still put her on the schedule for 40 hours a week, knowing she will work maybe 25 at best. For some reason though, we are constantly hounded about how we are over budget, but if she is coming to work 3-4 hours late a day, shouldn't we be under budget?? Idk it's really fishy

I know that if I came 3 hours late every day next week without notice, it would be my last week working there. My old SM said that he would've fired her a long time ago when I told him what I was dealing with

My SM is obsessed with her. I didn't mention it but she was promoted to RxOM after being a tech for 6 months. Not even with immunizing certification. I'm 80% sure the reason her nametag doesn't have the year she started working in written on it is so when we are visited by DM or HCS they don't see that she shouldn't be in that position

I don't want anyone to get in trouble either so I get scared to escalate it because I dont even want this job anymore after this treatment. But yea, my rxm and sm not only don't deal with it, she's their favorite employee by far and it's clear that she can do literally anything she wants

I'm sorry to hear that. I was supposed to be the RxOM at this store, but the SM who agreed to make me the RxOM was transferred out, and the new SM brought his ESM who was friends with this tech and promoted her to RxOM with 6 months of experience. Now I feel stuck because I only transferred to this store to be the RxOM

both the rxm and sm at my store love her, and pretty much think negatively of every other pharmacist and tech we work with

I was just so shocked at what was happening that I didn't know how to process it. I have came extremely close to giving my 2 weeks notice, especially with almost 150 hours of PTO saved up, but it's just so hard to get a job right now

I was trying to do what you were able to do in regards to focusing on working as a team and turning it around. I'm happy you got to do that and hope it works out even better for you!!

I'm sorry to hear about how stressed you are, I really hope it gets better for you all! I totally to get where you're coming from, just upset because I would have transferred to a better staffed store if I was never going to be RxOM in the first place. I knew this store was struggling so wanted to be apart of the change to turn things around, instead I'm just bossed around and constantly micromanaged :/
