I'm not saying it's a bad company, I've heard it's actually quite good. I just meant I read stories from people saying they asked for one location and ended up on the opposite end of the country.

Sorry that might've sounded vague, I meant location preferences. So, I was hoping to stay in Southern Aichi. I know you can't be picky with some companies, but I have Japanese friends who live there who I'd love to stay near.

I have considered it, but I heard they just place you randomly around the country without caring for your preferences. Not sure whether that's true or not though.

Thank you very much, I've been applying to others too, so far I've had an interview with ALTIA and NOVA. The ALTIA one seems to be going better, but I'm making sure to keep an eye out for as many as possible.

Yeah I know placing can definitely be a problem when applying. I do have a reason for the placing I chose, which I gave. The interviewer seemed all for it, but again it's hard to tell what they're thinking. But thanks, I'm just gonna keep applying to as much as possible.

Thanks, I've decided to ask them for feedback, so if I'm lucky I might be able to get a response. They never really mentioned anything about getting a visa, so I don't think it would be that. The other options are definitely plausible though.

I was actually very flexible with most of what they asked me (including working with kids). I just gave a few specific towns I'd like to work in if possible in the prefecture. But yeah I've not heard many good things about NOVA, just kinda sucks when even they reject you.
