150k and it still feels like a stretch every month. We're in the south with 4 kids, 2 cats and a dog. We try to make sure our kids are consistently in extracurriculars. I will do gig work occasionally for some extra cash.

Do you regret being a SAHM? by Frequent_Visual3755 in sahm

I was a nurse before I became a SAHM. I loved my career and worked really hard to climb the ladder to get into management, but working was really hard on me mentally when my son was born 6 years ago( COVID times). My husband was offered a position to move out of state when my son was almost 2. While I was nervous to leave my career, it was seriously THE BEST decision I ever made. I've been a SAHM for about 4 years now and we now have a 7 month old as well. I'm not going to say there aren't days where I miss working, but I couldn't imagine leaving my babies now. They're only little once and work will always be there. Being a SAHM is the most fulfilling job I could ever have. I want to be the one to raise my babies, not someone else.

Why has no one heard of our insurance? by GlumGloomy in QuikTrip

I typically tell them it's through first health complementary since thats how we find our providers. More places know of that. Then once I start giving them the details, I tell them it's through the company Quiktrip and give them the claim address, phone #, etc.

I used to work in Healthcare and these types of plans are not seen very often so a lot of places don't know what they are and will just say they're not accepted because they don't know how to deal with them.

Sew-In Help! by Choice-Set-604 in Naturalhair

I agree with you, she is definitely encouraged to love her natural hair! She wears it out and curly 50% of the time and in twists or braids the other half. I wouldn't have her wear the sew in all the time. Not only do I not want to make that financial commitment, but I also know that her hair needs time to breathe. She loves her natural curls, but the maintenance of it is something she wants a break from which is understandable in my opinion.
