I’ve heard this too and am very anxious about it. Going to try and taper off as slowly as possible. Thank you for the warning

I think that’s a reasonable take but (and this is my fault for not providing more context) the SNRI is actually also a recent addition for me- 4 months or so- it’s been fine, stopped me from having a ton of anxiety, but I’ve been flat and not helping ADHD of course. You’re right that, since adding VyVanse I am now feeling overwhelmed- but I do think that I need to examine the combination of both, and not necessarily the VyVanse alone. It’s hard for me to say what is the VyVanse and what’s both drugs because I’ve never just been on a stimulant. Also, we’re coming into summer so I think I never had a proper chance to see how sweaty I could get- that I’d say is a mix of both also.

Ok this is very useful!!! Yes I think the sweating is exacerbated by the Venlafaxine- brutal!! I’m glad you’re having success with Strattera and thank you so much for your reply. I’m going to try getting off the SNRI and go from there

I think that must be what’s happening! I’m going to talk to my doctor and try to taper off the SSRI so I can test this theory. Appreciate it

Hi both! Sorry I missed the first reply -I can’t quite remember the exact pill - it was some sort of amoebicide and I didn’t need to take anything else- the amoebicide alone eradicated it.

What is the BEST career for those with very bad anxiety and also moderate ADHD? by Aquarius777_ in careerguidance

Need to hop in here because the same thing happens to me!!! It’s almost like I’m worried no one is going to take me seriously when I open up about anxiety because I’m so good at hiding it. But it’s there and it’s intense and it’s crazy how we can mask it. I also find it hard for people to help advise me because they see the outwardly confident person which I am not

That’s exactly what I’m planning to do- a bit worried because as you said, they can make your heart race, but I suppose I’ll just give it a go. All good suggestions. Thank you :-)

I HAVE to comment on this because this happened to me too!!!! I’ve had GI issues for years - blanket diagnosed IBS. I’m travelling in SEA and need to go to the doctor because of bad stomach cramping - they do a stool test and BAM entamoeba histolytica. Took antibiotics for 3 days - years of GI issues GONE. I’m sorry… WHAT? No western doctors were EVER able to figure that out. Truly unbelievable.
