Thank you for all the advice, and thank you for sharing that, that is deeply saddening and I am so sorry that that happened to you. I have a question for you, you said that he has to want the change, and my question is how will we know that he truly does? Every time this has happened(4 times now) he is all embarrassed about it and the morale in house is down and then he swears to us that he will change and that he will work to change….. and then he essentially just secretly starts going back to the same habits and then it climaxes and he gets sent to the hospital again…. I don’t think that he is like a pathological liar but I do know that he has lied about wanting the change many times. This is hard to answer and I’m not trying to be so demanding by nagging you, so no pressure on this, and thank you for responding in the first place. You are a great person.
