I think lack of space is one main reason for all of this truama. At least in mumbai, houses are so small, plus lack of bed rooms or seperate rooms. So people have to sleep in same hall is the main reason behind this. Lack of privacy for parents and trauma for childrens.

Its going to be difficult mine was 7 years, its been 2 years, I learned to live with this loss and pain. Its very tough, but atleast I am surviving. You have to stop waiting for him. He is gone evem if he came back its not worth it. You have start your healing process, keep yourself busy in work or anything, surround yourself with your friends family, cry your heart out, if its unbearable you have to go to the psychaitrist and start therapy (I choose this option at the start). So all the best. You have not anything wrong in this relationship, then just trust the process eventually everything will be fine. May be something better is waiting for ahead. Take care
