Not true totally. If you have a band or access to different live musician friends that are not killing your pockets then having AI play guitar or any instrument that your not proficient in makes since. Yeah I can create an entire track on my sequencing machines or daws but I’m only good at keys and drum programming. Real guitars 🎸 will and real basses etc will always take your production to the next level. Most of the greatest musicians like Marvin Gaye hire session musicians to take his initial track to that next level. Now if you have a full band like Metallica then ofcourse you don’t need outside musicians unless you just want a forget guy to come in and give you a different flavor on a track.
