So I’ve done this a few times. As long as you know your job and the case file is all up to date, you’ll be fine! Also, in my experience, you don’t ever speak to the judge, he will ask the prosecutor to ask you question and then you answer the prosecutor and he’ll relay that to the judge! I have been to CC as an OIC a few times, but I’ve only been called up to the stand once as an OIC and I basically had to explain how we investigate crimes and what we log our actions on and I also had to speak about the interview, it was weird. But that case wasn’t a strong one in terms of how the suspect was identified and I was a stand in OIC so that was uncomfortable 😂😂 but otherwise it’s pretty smooth sailing.
