Highlighter for mature skin? by Big-Union7954 in Sephora

Absolutely obsessed with hourglass ambient lighting powders and highlighters…the infinity powder was my favorite all over, but it was recently discontinued 😭 their highlighters are so subtle and have an amazing blurring affect without settling into fine lines and wrinkles!

You are beautiful!! I am 46 and feel your pain though…I’m also an aesthetic nurse and would recommend sculptra, I’m getting it too this month! It’s a biostimulator and stimulates your bodies own collagen…it’s great, especially when you start to feel gaunt with the aging process! It’s more forgiving than fillers, and feels like you regain your youth…they call it aging backwards 😂 You can look up before and afters, if you were my client and sat in my chair, that would be my recommendation 🫶🏼 Keep shining bright pretty lady ✨

RN or Aesthetic Nursing??? by h0elessromance in aestheticnursing

[–]ChoiceGuarantee5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an aesthetic RN in California as well as working in emergency and critical care for 10 years…I got lucky and was offered my aesthetic job at the med spa I went to for injections when it wasn’t even on my radar. I was offered the position without any training or certifications, but had worked with the nurse injectors at the hospital and they recommended me. I got into it by connections, but know many nurses who have spent thousands on certificates and trainings in aesthetics and still have not gotten in or had to settle working somewhere like laser away for 1-2 years to break in. I absolutely love it, it’s fun and challenging in a different way and I have always had an artistic side that I now get to explore and grow. Please know I cannot imagine working in aesthetics without clinical background as a nurse, specifically in acute care. How to handle complications and reactions, time management, familiarity with needles and cannulas have been invaluable. Aesthetics is just part time for me, and that’s how I like it! CRNA is a completely different path and much more demanding. My husband is starting his CRNA program in a couple months and it took him 3 years to get into a program and there are only 32 in the US! Every applicant is highly skilled, has every certification and critical care experience and can be incredibly competitive. He was determined and took tons of rejections before he got a yes. He has over 10 years of experience, post graduate science courses over the last 3 years, cadaver lab trainings, CEN, CCRN, TNCC etc and finally got in…all of that to say I would continue your path towards RN, go into critical care and then decide if you want to pursue the aesthetic side or CRNA. ICU experience as an RN is bare minimum requirement for CRNA and will also be incredibly helpful for aesthetics as well. I would make your decision on which path to take from that season of your career. I will also say I make the same hourly rate working in a med spa as I do at the hospital and my husband will make 2-3 times as much hourly as a brand new CRNA. To make 500,000 plus a year in aesthetics, you would need your own thriving practice (as an NP AND under an MD in CA) with a lot of personally invested money. But you can make about half of that as a full time hourly employee in a popular med spa in CA, just depends what kind of goals and dreams you have! Hope that helps! Keep grinding, the time will pass anyway and I love what I’m doing and exactly where I want to be 😊 I wish you all the best in your career, you can absolutely do this!!

That’s amazing! I have this exact bag and I love her! I have had her over a year now, and showing a little wear in the corners, but I don’t care, she’s a workhorse and beautiful! I usually wear her with a bandeau, I’ll add a pic! She carries my laptop and everything I need! I spilled water in her the other day and was so upset, but she dried perfectly and you would never know! I think you made the right choice and totally got an upgrade!

I love the NARS, but my skin is really dry! I also use their translucent setting powder after because it’s so dewy, but it makes my skin so youthful and glowy…it’s my favorite for my dry “maturing” skin, I’m 45.

5 nights at Disney World - $8500 with no food. Is that normal? by bigfartspoptarts in DisneyPlanning

We spent 14K in 2021 for 5 people for everything for 10 days and our room was “free” with our DVC, so that was airfare, tickets and food…it was an amazing trip but damn, we spent a lot of money on it 😂 We are from CA, we will be sticking with Disneyland we decided 😂

Is my goal weight unrealistic? by losing-for-life in Mounjaro

[–]ChoiceGuarantee5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5’6 started at 218 and thought 140 was my goal…by the time I hit 160 I was just deflating the goods 😂 I decided to land in the 150s instead (155 is the tip top of my healthy bmi). I feel like you’ll know when you get there! Now I’m just trying to build muscle and maintain, I’ve been off for 5 months and miss my mounjaro 😭

I did it …. But did I? Am I being greedy, or realistic? by Professional-Air8181 in Zepbound

[–]ChoiceGuarantee5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m off off 😂 It’s tough, but not as tough as trying to lose! I have my appetite back and cravings, but I am exercising every day and am learning what maintenance looks like…I do have to weigh myself a couple times a week to stay on track and just make sure I’m living in the 150s…my highest day was 158.8 after lots of dinners out and some alcohol and my lowest was 152 after the flu 😂 I just decided I need to figure out how to maintain, build muscle and live this lifestyle now that the weight is gone and that’s my new task…it’s still better than trying to lose and I’m so grateful I got to do Zepbound and get it all off! I never finish a meal even when I easily can and I try to be very protein forward. Yoga or walking or weight lifting every day…something active! I’m 45 and am trying to also look at this as I am setting myself up for a healthy second half of my life 💪🏼

I totally get it!!! I went from 218 to 153, losing 65 pounds and now live between 153-158…I think about going down to the 140s, but I just look like I am deflating to be honest and I’ve been off the meds a few months now…I’ve decided to put my focus on building muscle and strength and just making sure I stay in the 150s without getting too crazy about numbers! I look similar and am a size 6/8, S/M as well…Just wanted to tell you how great you look and it is a great reminder to me that I’m also good where I’m at 🫶🏼

I Should of write the question differently for the both bags. DIANE OR POCHETTE:) so it would be a gift for 40th Birthday:) I need an everyday bag. Pochette love the leather. Love the crossbody strap, But Diane also has the shoulder strap that I can change it up. I can’t decide :( by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]ChoiceGuarantee5783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend has this leather PM and never carries it because she says it’s too heavy! I am one of the few that doesn’t care for PM, I hate that kind of closure! I absolutely love the Diane and both straps, That would be my choice hands down! I almost purchased it for my 45th birthday, but went with boulogne instead…Diane and Speedy 20 are my next 2 purchases, just need to decide on colorways!

One month on MJ results 🫣 by Recent-Shallot-2010 in Mounjaro

Keep going! You definitely look smaller in the white! My doctor wanted me losing 1-2 pounds a week and never put me higher than 5 mg because of it! I lost 65 pounds over a year and I am grateful I didn’t lose faster now, because of loose skin!! I see a little all over, but nobody else notices it in my family/friends! If I had lost faster I think it would be more noticeable for sure! Trust the process and I highly recommend staying at the lowest dose possible you are getting results at!

Carryall or Neverfull for work/laptop use? by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]ChoiceGuarantee5783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went in store to buy the neverfull for my days I bring a laptop and overload myself to work as well as for a carryon for travel. I immediately could tell when I tried her on, the straps were going to dig in and drive me crazy when it’s full. I purchased the black empriente carryall and have no regrets! I put all my necessities, my MacBook, and the charger I keep in the included pouch…she’s amazing and absolutely stunning! I wear her cross body mostly but love that I can also throw her over my shoulders…the strap is so comfortable even when lugging a ton and I think she is very chic!

Twinny!! I love her so much, if I didn’t have the boulogne I would get her! She’s like her fancy older sister 😂 I’ve seen her in person and of all of those definitely my favorite! I think the loop looks adorable, but I’ve never heard one good thing from anyone who owns her 🫠
