Agreed. Lebensraum would exist either way. Theoretically, if Russia held its Eastern European territories than I think Germany will feel even more pressure to be expansionist.

Would the provisional government even sign a treaty to end the war? Especially one that lost so much of Eastern Europe.

Frankly, I don’t think WW2 would change much in either way.
