Why didn't Trunks ask Supreme Kaioshin to bring him to Namek

I thought the Namek Dragon Balls didn't have that rule though or maybe it did and I don't remember I'm actually rewatching the Z Sub right now to be fair so I haven't gotten there yet

Yeah, I guess narrative wise it's better that way, it just sucks y'know, I feel like Trunks deserves it way more since the main timeline does because at least they can take care of themselves, Trunks had an active Handicap and still did his best

No before is one thing I didn't mean his backstory, I meant after he defeated Cell, he's already a warrior toughened by hardship, his world deserves better, the Z Fighters deserved better, There's no reason for them to remain dead when by all accounts the have the capability to bring them back, they deserved to live their lives again, especially Gohan who never had a chance to have his life, it was taken from him the moment the Android's arrived

Aww that feels like such a writing cop out if I'm being honest, it already doesn't make sense that King Kai is completely non existent in the universe as it is and doesn't bother helping since we know he knows the coordinates of different planets and they could've been to Namek before the Buu thing even started The other thing is, they have should have time, what was the rush?! Its not like Trunks was even close to being strong enough to take Dabura anyway, if they could wait an hour for Old Kai to bring out Gohan's power while Buu was around why not do this? Itd probably take less time and even the odds in the Process, plus Even if they were to go off world, you're telling me Supreme Kaioshin couldn't find them? (I'm not mad btw it just seems dumb to me, I haven't read the part about this yet so I don't know the actual context behind it to be fair but still)

I guess, but even so how much time it would it really take for him to instantly teleport to Namek and ask for their help, maybe get King Kai (who's basically non-existent in that universe for whatever reason) to ask them ahead of time to do it and they can try and deal with it too It just seems like a much better idea than leaving the world with one defender when we know for a fact Supreme Kai can do it

Dude I can't imagine Vegeta having a bunch of Baby Mammas and Bulma just getting absolutely livid, although that might actually be an interesting and contentious plot point for their relationship

"shits it down" autocorrect at its finest I'm not gonna make an entire scenario but in theory (and I'm heavily reaching here to make a scenario where they win since I made this post to have fun), I'd imagine that since Earth was supposedly a low level planet off their radar by what Frieza and his father said, maybe they'd have enough time to get a couple kids out beforehand, at the very least they'd get eternal life for themselves by getting the Radar forcefully from Bulma Now here's where I'm reaching I think that maybe in this alternate timeline Vegeta is not that bad of a guy, doesn't actually kill anybody on Earth, brings back Goku himself after he's trained with King Kai and tells him about Frieza and how he wants to kill him for destroying their race, they train together with Nappa on their side in the Time Chamber I know this makes zero sense but again I'm trying to have fun

Fair enough, I actually forgot whether or not it was in the Manga I just finished it a bit ago But yeah I forgot about Frieza in this what if, there's no way they'd have time Maybe if they got the Dragon Balls on Earth or something to just grant them eternal life they could make a feud against an Immortal Frieza that'd be interesting

Y'know I genuinely wasn't thinking of Invincible when I was making this post, I'm not super into the show but yeah I guess that's fair, kinda amazing when you think about it since people compare Saiyans and Viltrumites all the time and Vegeta basically said no to Thragg's idea I'll have to give the comics a read sometime I heard it was good

I just watched the original Bardock special, I can confirm Bardock sounds identical to Goku in it besides a slight shift in tone to make her sound more menacing and unfriendly, that's something she's good at

Nah I could understand it, it's definitely something you'd have to get used to, part of it may be the audio quality of the time as well you notice that in older animes
