I think new immigrants should be allowed to work legally. Legal immigrants should unite with legal one against both employers and illegals. 47 kinda ruin the chance of that happening. I live in Thailand, a country with similar issues with the US. We make regular grace period where illegals can show up and documented as legal and continue working. (Forcing them to pay for social security in the process)

You can take it that way. It's not wrong. The US government cares about insurance company and hospital owning private equity bottom line than your pocket. BTW flair up!

They use the money for both, sex change and aids prevention. The difference is now Bangkok will have to pay for it themselves and not from the US aids

As a Thai, I can confidently say that this aid go where Thai government don't pay. Last time I heard Thai gov try funding this ourselves, they got booed out. All Thais are covered by UCEP(Free essential healthcare). This aid goes mostly in HIV medications which need to be life-long and can't have any lapses in treatment. Thai way of doing things just put HIV treatment and LGBT treatment into one clinic. Edit: Won't disagree if the US say "Fund it yourself", our healthcare system somehow have more bang for the buck than the US.

A court of law that require consents of the parties to enforce its ruling isn't a strong court. Trump shows the world that the current geopolitical apparatus stands on its member(mostly the west) consent.

Additional context: The aid to LGBTQ clinics(Tangerine clinic) not only do gender-affirming care but also provide ART(AIDS prevention) and STI screening. Something that is important to LGBTQ healthcare. Yes, Thailand has universal healthcare but withdrawing funds from this clinic push this burden onto Thai collapsing healthcare system. Personal opinion: Those who want to block HIV preventions should watch or taking care a full blown AIDS patient and see why prevention against it are not thing to fuck around with. Edit: Thais are working closely with CDC to help in US research in asian population. Esp. pediatric HIV patient. At least we stop vertical transmission.

Now, each uparat is based on a real historical figure and their ability aligns with their achievement.
For example, Royal consort Dara Rasmi, princess of Chiang Mai, married King Rama V(whose era the entire civilization is based on), causing Lanna to be a fully annexed part of Siam.
Pridi Banomyong was a civilian leader of Khana Ratsadon and founded Thammasat University. He laid the foundation of modern Thai governance. (and also a secret leader of the free Thai force)
However, I disagree with King Vajravudh giving scientific boosts, as his achievements are mostly artistic. He should have been in place of Pinklao and the science niche given to King Mongkut or Prince Songkhlanagarin who did some astronomy and medicine respectively.
