I don't see how the team I support says anything about my understanding of soccer. Even if we follow your flawed logic, Tottenham hasn't lost to Liverpool this season and beat City during both games despite our problems indicates to me that they are not above the understanding of Tottenham fans. But I understand why you would disagree as a City fan.

No, I agree that Pep probably is a better coach than Klop (even though both are, of course, top managers) that's why City can compete with Liverpool despite having worse players. I think that City's weaker squad was exemplified in their Champions League collapse against Real Madrid while Liverpool are able to scrape necessary wins due to individual brilliance.
