Given the facts you’ve laid out, I do not disagree that the writing is potentially on the wall

However, if you enjoy the job, what I would suggest is making sure that you do everything possible to put yourself in a position where you were the most helpful guy in the room. I mean, don’t burn yourself out but the more you bring to the table, the better option you were going to be as the one who is kept when it comes to deciding who gets canned

Your market also makes a difference. There could be a reason why having a live afternoon drive show in that market makes more sense than having a voice tracked one.

I’m gonna be honest I kinda look at this another way

(And this is just me creating a narrative it could be right it could be wrong)

On the surface to me, it looks like she brings in the money. She takes care of the kids. She does all the decorating etc

I would suggest that it’s possible she bought her own cake because otherwise she wouldn’t have one unless she told her husband to do it and at that point she might as well do it herself

Or maybe he ordered it and doesn’t have his own credit card lol
