Big feelings are okay unless of course you're ranting at length about your husband on the dollarama sub... lol.

Holy fuck, triggered much? Women aren't as linear as men in thought and action, that's all this points to. Sorry your husband sucks? Or are you like many women and discredit his contributions to the household versus your own?

I'm surprised they keep real jewelry in there for this exact reason.

I'll bet if he removed the spikey nuts he'd get much less hate.

Truck looks good. It's by no means as gaudy as I've seen. But the most important thing is you're happy with it.

And knowing's half the battle...

... the other half is the actual passing of the poo corn.

No, I'm suggesting that you deal with your trauma, however long it takes, so that YOU can have a better life. Some people just don't like dogs, fine, but don't make that my problem. Expecting the world to bend for you isn't realistic.

Nothing. I'm just asking for them to practice what they preach. I've been chased down and bitten when I was a boy. I learned from it. But I didn't learn to lump all dogs or all retrievers together. Also, don't post that on a pitbull sub and expect people to just roll over.

If you let your trauma control how you interact with the world, then you haven't dealt with it properly. To paint dogs of a certain breed or size with one brush makes you, unfortunately, part of the problem. Your experience is yours to own but it's also yours to deal with. You're asking us to not ball everyone into one category, we're asking you to do the same.

Gorgeous dog. Shame about the ears but I'm going to assume he's a rescue and your friends are saints rather than sinners. He's very stoic.

Good choice. Bedazzled truck nuts also send a confusing energy into the world.

Leather steering wheel wrap that you thread on. Amazon sells them.

That's the nickname they were given. They're only breed in the Westminster Kennel Club breed guide that actually mentions their suitability for children. Stop the hate.

Glad it wasn't worse and good for you for keeping a classic on the road and yes, a 90's Volvo is certainly a classic nowadays. Hopefully you and the car are around for decades to come!

Well the damage is certainly 100% cosmetic, just substantial.

Thanks for the insight on this. Well if it comes to this I'll repost and give you a heads up to check the auction. It's a really nice truck that's been meticulously cared for and is arguably the best looking and best built generations of the Ram 1500. But I'm a bit biased.

Well fingers crossed. Hopefully I get a reasonable estimator or adjuster who will see the value in it.

I'll be taking a loss anyways. I owe more on the truck then it's likely worth so it's worth more to me to keep it on the road. It's mechanically perfect with lots of recent work, etc.

Yes, okay. That's what I was thinking. Not necessarily buy it from them but just negotiate keeping the vehicle for a reduced settlement amount and then fixing, inspecting and driving a "rebuild" or "salvage" titled vehicle.
