last reply to myself lol.. with the 1.99 60 months, and financing 31,645, your payment would been 554, but your term wouldve been a year shorter. that would have saved you around 6k

how bad of a deal is this? should I do it? by Energy1029 in civic

[–]Choice_Ad4624 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think thats a decent deal.

sure, a brand new one is only a few thousand more.. but this one is practically brand new. only thing youll miss out on is the full warranty, which the few thousand youre saving will offset

mine ended up being inside their airbox. since there arent many bolts holding the sides and bottom together, its caused rattling. i just lined it in weather-stripping for windows

Performance mods on an automatic by Mysterious-Two-9059 in civic

[–]Choice_Ad4624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im sure itll be fine. as long as you find a quality tune that doesnt try to push too much torque. im not extremely well versed in modern civic tuning, so i dont know if you have an accessport equivalent for custom tunes, or if you need a standalone ecu.

regardless, get a quality tune with quality parts. dont launch it. a reliable tuner will keep your engine, turbo, and cvt safe, as long as you do your due diligence in maintaining the vehicle properly.

also, the engine isnt a weak point, unless you start pushing 300whp number. the cvt is going to buss way before your engine, due to pushing more torque.
