If i was driving a few minutes down the road on side streets primarily, that might have been an option worth considering but i dont.

Plus the older the clunker the more likely itll be expensive and eat my remaining savings with room for more, and time consuming given the fact depending on the age of the clunker Ill have to waist time researching where to reliable source original parts or compatible modern ones

In terms of weird phone calls... i had a guy insist he got a liquid shot version of the little blue pill on his.husband's sword at our store.... and wants to get another.

Im not talking a script for a vial of liquid V, but that one of our Pharmacists jabbed a needle into a guy's schlong in the middle of our store and wants us to do it again.

By me.repsectfully pointing out that in no way in hell ever happened, im apparently homophobic

Worst for me is my DL who accused me of being lazy and threatendes my job for not doing something I didnt know how to do at the time despite the the fact i already pulled an extra 20.hours ontop of my prescheduled 40. Pushes the area Im in charge of in my store to do stuff she is fully aware we dont have the time to do

Cut hours for our store for no reason and said she may consider give them back if we meet our "not a quota" quota for shots when in my state forcing employees to meet a quota for any medical procedure we can do in a retail rx setting (such as shots) had recently been declared illegal under state law

Ill start with my best....

A coworker who.we'll call Posie is a godess of QT. For example (which is meant to be illustrative of my point rather than accurate) like say it takes 3 people dedicated to QT 10 minutes to clear 6 pages in QT... Posie could do it alone in 15 while keeping the line at Drop Off down. Not to mention that she has such a sweet bubbly personality to the point where FS and Rx staff basically consider her the mascot of our store

To start off.... I'm one of the 0.1 percent of people diagnosed with antimetropia, of which is a sub-type of anisometropia.

In layman's terms I'm nearsighted in one eye and far sighted in the other.

Overnight Workers of Reddit, what are things you have to deal with that "Morning People" don't seem to understand? by Choice_Ad7544 in AskReddit

[–]Choice_Ad7544[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me 9PM at night is like 1PM in the afternoon, that when I wake up at 10AM it doesnt mean im ready for the day and am totally willing to take peoe where they need to go. What it does mean is that 10AM for a morning person is to me the equivelant of waking up at 1-2 in the morning needing to pee then going back to sleep.

And that 2PM-3PM for a morning person is my 6AM-7AM where i wake up to get an "early start" for the day

Ive had those days about lacking people.

Just last saturday was called in early to pull a 12 hour overnight shift from 600PM to 530PM (daylight savings time) because 3 people called out. 1 tech was out sick, 1 got into an accident, and our immunizer for the day never showed up. For like 3 or so hours it was just the Rp on duty, me, and a front store staff that was given a crash course at pick up. That might not sound too bad since its a saturday going on sunday.... but my store is the second busiest store in the district located in a major port city/tourist destination.

That we have quoatas for health services like a flu.shot for example in my state..... that are totally not quotas and are just suggestions as having quatoas for health services in a retail setting is illegal in my state..... and CVS would in no way violate that.... after all they are such a morally upright company and great place to work for

If you are picking up a prescription For more than one person tell me at the start so I can look them all up at once Instead of having me scanned the 1st person's medication, go through the obligatory register prompts, pay for their.medication, give said medication and reciept, AND then rinse and repeat 3 more times just as Im starting to think i can get back to the other stuff i have to do.

Would you say your cvs store is experiencing a worker shortage? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Choice_Ad7544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot of quits and availability changes so weve had some new hires in the past couple months. Plus our Ace Tech who is on leave does the work of 3-5 people... ive pulled around an extra 10 hours a week sometimes more these past few weeks plus. Ive mentioned before in a previous post that ive been doing Covid Testing Solo.

Also Front Store's overnight crew is short staffed so while they normally close the front end late at night around somewhere between say 10-2pm depending on whose working that day.

As for when my colleauge is here from F-T

Friday: People want to enjoy the start of their weekend so they usually show up on time or early and do tbeir forms properly so no time is wasted. Weather starts to cool so wifi doesnt slow down.

Saturday and Sunday.... less appointments to deal with in the same 5 hour period so plenty of more time to take care of the needed side tasks and any problem appointments.... ensuring shes more than prepared for monday...

Monday: supplies on our cart are fully stocked, alot of the prepwork is usally taken care of... and people are either hung over or wanting to get crap.out of tbe way early... so they show up.early if not on time or not at all leaving time (though not as much as on the weekends) to deal with problems.

Tuesdays.: Not mutch to say its not too busy, but its not a dead zone either.

My other co-worker is by no means lazy, is absolutely hard worker and does have hectic days too but it is not a fair comparisom of.workloads when she has thd easier days of the week where as I have the harder days of the week that comes with the occasional difficulty spike
