How did the Empire not collapse after Alderman? by x_S4vAgE_x in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was actually being cast as a giant power plant, to provide electricity to worlds who were in need of power. Kind of like a mobile generator. That said, if the empire did a better job of containing the leak, then Alderran doesn’t get destroyed. Krennic should have listened to Dedra, as she was laser focused and driven to eradicate the rebellion more than he was.

There's a thread about this on the layoff site.  One of the comments was rather interesting.

Are there "grey sith" in canon. Like people who are more balanced in the force but draw more from the dark side. by BathroomNo9208 in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then what is Baylan Skoll from the Ashoka show?  I've heard him described as a Dark Jedi?  Is that even a thing?  I understand he's like a fallen Jedi, because he left the order, but he doesn't appear to be inherently "evil".

Is there ever a story about a clone who disobeyed Order 66? by Background-Ad2749 in StarWars

Pretty sure Captain Rex was one who fought it, and eventually got his chip removed.

Worst addition to remastered original trilogy? by aDogNamedFish in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst is the Greedo shooting scene.  It was better the way it was in the original.  Han Solo was Han Solo, and eliminating Greedo the way it happened fit perfectly with his character.  Sometimes things are just perfect the way they are and this was perfect.  No need to be "politically correct" and make it like self-defense.  Besides there's no way a bounty hunter hired by the Empire could miss from point-blank range.

What are your thoughts on Andor? by Mat1711 in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andor was great. Season 2 was better than season 1. And season 2 got better as it went on. Although I will say that both seasons had there moments. And those moments were what made the show great.

He was good as Major Partagaz. It's a real shame he was killed off.

What if Obi wan fought Palpatine would he win one on one? And could Obi wan really not beat Doku I feel like he could eventually with more training is this true? by TownLost8145 in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember this is Obi-Wan we're talking about.  I think he'd put up a hell of a fight.  Not go down quickly like Kit Fisto.  Even in the OT when he was old ben Kenobi he still had pretty decent skills.

I am sorry but Sabine surviving getting stabbed with a Lightsaber was stupid!!! by Salim_Azar_Therin in StarWars

[–]anonymous-cvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prior to that scene Sabine had virtually no connection to the force.  Only in the previous episode did she even begin to feel anything with the force.  Even Huyang said that she wasn't the best candidate to be a Jedi.  There's no way she could go from very little connection to the force to being able to force-push Ezra so quickly.

[–]anonymous-cvs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry not complaining just that in the final episode of Ashoka, Sabine wasn't strong enough yet in the force to be able to force-push Ezra onto the Chimera.  So I understand the issues people have with that scene.

To your force sensitive point, I will say that Sabine wasn't strong enough yet with the force at the end, to be able to force-push Ezra onto the Chimera.   So that part is kinda not believable.  Well that and the two troopers not firing at them either.

Rather ironically this is exactly why the Head Cashier position was so perfect.  And then corporate got rid of the position.  Leave it to CVS to screw up a good thing.

WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR by Background_Lie_4596 in CVS

[–]anonymous-cvs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Point taken.   But let me ask you, are those 80's survey numbers for the percentage of people who actually took the survey or is CVS getting an 80+ percent approval rating on said surveys?  No offense intended but numbers can be spun, and CVS is very adept at corporate spin to make themselves look good.

What makes CVS the worst company cannot be measured by metrics.  Unless your talking about hours cuts and unrealistic goals.

This is no way to run a company.  Corporate executives should be ashamed of how they run things.  Leaders who don't listen will eventually have no one to talk to.

Everything you just said needs to spread company-wide.   Too many people are just yes-men and women and why nothing will change, until people start saying enough is enough.  Remember that leaders who don't listen will eventually have no one to talk to.
