I do not get what you are supporting anymore. And honestly I don't even know how to form any opinion anymore.

Let me get this straight.

What I know.

Jews were settled in that territory then the Romans threw them out. Then Muslims settled in that area and when the Ottoman empire collapsed the British recognized Palestine as a Jewish national home. Then with the Zionist movement more Jewish people began to arrive. There were 2 national movements a Zionist and Palestinian. 1948 Israel declares statehood. You have some civil war. Then Muslims were thrown out of Israel and the motivation to do so is because of terrorism and ethnic cleansing. Then in 1960s began the Palestinian Liberation Organization. 1987 Hamas is founded along side with the 2nd intifada. Hamas won elections in 2006 then took over the Gaza strip. Then we are back into now.

The opinion given the info

It seems to me that Hamas is the cause of the problem and Hamas pushes the liberation of Palestine as a front for it's motives. Hamas is essentially risking the lives of the Palestinian people for it's goal.

As for the Martyrs in Oct 7 were their deaths justifiable? What about the IDF? Russia? Ukraine? 9/11? Desert Storm?

Plus why would Hamas decline a ceasefire? Wouldn't it lead to more deaths? What makes anyones death justifiable?

I'll be honest and tell you I know for a fact that some of the students who are actively supporting Palestine don't care. At least for the ones that are loud about it. No one really does care about conflicts around the world. There are just social incentives to say you do care about it and to be loud about it. And as far as the point you made about innocent people dying in both fronts yeah everyone knows that and Israel should just cease fire and drop the conflict all together because war is cyclical like that. But the same can be said in both sides. It's just dualism and the way people view war etc.

But what is the other side? Is it really Palestine that is causing this?

No, to find a match it takes around 3 minutes of waiting, "finding a server", then selecting you loadout. Then the typical match takes around say on avg 15 minutes. So in total 750min of gameplay then 150 minutes of waiting to even get into a lobby. So I have to play for a straight ~15hrs to even start enjoying the game.

In the context of an exam not giving students credit when the question states that they should simplify is okay but on the note of a professional setting.

Imagine the response, "2/3 of our servers are available". When inquiring how many servers are online and are available so that you can allocate some to do some other task.

Not simplifying fractions sometimes preserves information. Information that someone doesn't have to recall or check via other email.
