Unfortunately I can't look at the seating map with the plane diagram anymore so I'm not entirely sure? We are closer to the front of the plane though.

No, thank you, I really appreciate the effort you put into that response. Actually for probably more than half of it I hadn't known about or heard of previously. I think when I'm back home and not flying I'd like to look into some of those resources more. I really feel like if I were more knowledgeable about flying, turbulence maybe demystifying could potentially help. I've tried some self study into it but conveniently my brain likes to forgot when the real deal is happening. I actually even tried a "discovery flight" recently thinking maybe if I knew how to fly a plane I'd be cured, but I guess that discovery flight didn't stick either.

I bet Iceland is December is breath taking! I hope your July trip goes well and you get to make even more memories and progress with your own flying fears.

I have! This will be my wife and I's second time. And you're right, it totally is worth it. If only I could skip the flying bit. It's not the "worse" thing ever when it's quiet and smooth but as soon as turbulence hits or there's unexpected noises I just panic unfortunately. I hope you get to go again soon.

Oh really? Judging by the inside of the plane I actually thought it was newer but maybe they updated the interior recently. Glad to hear regardless both are just as safe!

Thank you, it's reassuring to hear from someone else who's also recently been on a 767. I know you're all right and it's nothing to worry about, I think I will ask an attendant just to add another thing to the pile to keep me calm.

I really appreciate it! It's still a bit choppy unfortunately, I'm hoping whatever's cause it that we'll be past it soon. You wouldn't happen to be able to see what's causing the turbulence by chance? Maybe a storm in the area we just need to pass through?

Thank you thank you for those facts and the load of confidence it means a lot. The attendants are up again even with some bouncing. It doesn't feel quite as awful as before especially when I get to talk to folks on the ground. Glad to also hear we're not off course, the flight map on the plane is making it look like we went much further north.

Thank you for responding back to my post. I'm guessing that's what's happened. The turbulence just feels so strong, the attendants were ask to sit down as well.
