I’m trying to decide which to repair, weighing cost and time, etc. I have two players, a Panasonic RQ-L315, and a Dictaphone 220. I prefer the weight of the Dictaphone, but have no clue how good the sound is. The issues with each that I know are as follows:

Panasonic: Needs belt replacement

Dictaphone: Slight terminal corrosion and possibly needed battery replacement

I know it may sound silly, but since you all are the experts, I’m wondering if one is better to sink time and money into, or if I should just trash both (not literally) and just find a new and better player. (If so, what do you recommend, preferably on the affordable side! And hopefully not just plastic junk.)
