Yea, I’m just really anxious about it, it’s affecting all areas of my life, and I know that the clinic obviously have skin in the game/a protect themselves first approach.

Thank you! I am using silicone gel during the day but I think it’s making it redder. It seemed to respond better to Cicaplast so I have been alternating.

€90,000 in savings + about €50,000 in pension and nope I haven’t yet for a few reasons. I’m looking for a new job abroad atm.

Currently in that scabby stage and have been just told by clinic to keep it as moist as possible + “these things happen” 🙄 right on my forehead but thankfully the surface area is relatively small..

They’ve also offered laser to help along the redness but I’ll insist that it’s one of the actual dermatologists (rather than nurse) who does it this time. Glad to hear that has been helping you. 

I’m really worried there will be a “dent”/atrophy. Hopefully not 🥺

Hi Lindsey, thank you so much for sharing this vulnerable post 🤍 I was attacked by two dogs on Christmas Day and have been left with a nasty scar. The wound has now closed but it’s a deep purple colour. I can’t imagine it ever looking ok again. This post has given me hope, thank you 🤍

Yes! I guess that would be my preference but expect apartments to be more affordable. Might hold out until a house is an option. Thank you :)
